#1 Cone Coffee Filters, Unbleached Natural Brown, 40 Count (Pack of 12) 480 Total Filters Count - Packaging May Vary

These filters are awesome! 5 Stars!! I have been using them for a few decades now, and currently get them from Amazon through Subscribe and Save and have for several years. Again, the filters work great and I have never had a problem with the filters. However, on my last Subscribe and Save order, I only received 10 boxes of 40 inside the normal Melitta carton, not 12! I did not open the carton until after the 30 day return window, so Amazon will not deal with it, or at least I could not find a way to contact them directly. Again, this was NOT a Melitta problem. Amazon sent the order through FBA or Fulfilled by Amazon, but wherever they got the filters from, the carton did have a label from the FBA supplier that indicated there was 2 sets of 5 boxes - even though they were repacked into the original carton that says there were 12 boxes. I tried to post this review in the last few days, but Amazon rejected it because it was not allowed by "community standards" without giving any reason why the review was rejected. To Amazon, if you are going to reject this review, please tell me why! I am only trying to give anybody that orders these from Amazon, especially through Subscribe and Save with a limit of only wanting them when sold by Amazon (not third party), to simply check the carton when they get them. My original review did include images to show what I was talking about, including the label from the FBA supplier. Since it identified the supplier in the image, I am assuming that is why the review was rejected. If THIS review has something Amazon does not approve of, please let me know WHY it is being rejected. If you accept this review, you can remove this last paragraph, or if I can edit it after it is published, I will remove this last paragraph myself.

I use these in two different models of Black and Decker single cup brewers. The filters fit into the mesh filter basket -- not a perfect fit, but they work fine. I've tried all sorts of coffee brewing methods: Aeropress, french press, pour over and I've come back to a $18 machine and these cheap filters for the best coffee experience with no fuss. I can't taste any paper flavor at all. The 12-pack of 40 filters gives me 4 to 6 months of good coffee. It is a bargain.

Hard to find item in the grocery stores available in multiple pkg.

These coffee filters fit perfectly in my one cup coffee maker. I used to purchase them in the grocery store but for the past few years, I have not been able to find this #1 size. I'm so glad I was able to find them on Amazon. They are the perfet size for my needs.

Purchased for Brew N go single cup coffee maker, the filters are great quality. The size 1 filters are just a little small for the coffee filter and the size 3 are too big, I guess its something we have to deal with. The size is not an issue unless you decide to load up on coffee for a very strong brew. Would I buy it again... Not sure, I might stick with the next size and fold them a little at the bottom and sides to make it fit perfectly.

Ok- just for clarity- when you order ONE of these- you will get twelve packs of coffee filters. Each pack has 40 filters. Total number of filters= 12 packs * 40 filters/pack = 480 filters. This was my expectation (title seems fairly clear to me) and that's what I received. I use these in conjunction with my one-cup coffee maker and they work great: [...] You could use generic Melitta style #4 filters (far cheaper, available from the grocery store) and cut them down to work with the type of coffee maker, since the one-cup coffee makers have smaller baskets, and the disposable filters prevent chronic fouling and buildup. However, this requires one to REMEMBER to buy them on trips to the store (and I'd just keep forgetting to do so). I rationalized that the expense was worth it because 1) it will take me a long time to go through the case, given my 1/day use, 2) it was worth it to me to always have them on hand and 3) some days I just didn't want to hassle with the cutdown (but that's a very minor issue since you can easily cut down a week's worth of filters at once). Additionally: shipping for the case is free with Super Saver Shipping -& I can always find something else to buy on Amazon to make a $[...] purchase(use Amazon Filler Item Finder to do so! [...]).

These filters work great with both my Hamilton Beach single cup Flex Brew.
