Outstanding
My favorite mouse for about a year. The shape causes the mouse to move back with your hand, so there's less strain when moving the cursor downward. Side buttons are intuitively placed and respond well. The tracking of these mice is flawless on any shiny surface like finished wood, but deteriorates on fabric mousemats over a few months. No amount of trying to clean the mousemat seems to help the issue, but my bare desktop now proves better for it than any mousemat. Not having to have a mousemat and still being able to aim well in FPS games is nice. The mouse remembers your firmware settings. If you program the DPI settings on one computer, you can plug it into another and it will keep working the same way. I set the colors all to the same DPI so I can just pick whatever color I want at a given time for aesthetics. And the light's why I'm really writing this review. The LED controller's behavior lets you know, at a glance, what's happening with your computer. It will shine bright like the sun on a system crash or reboot, and assume the behavior you programmed when everything's peachy. It's like your computer has a heartbeat or something.Just a great mouse, really.EDIT: This mouse is a beast. It's now November 2016 and mine is still going without a problem. The metallic paint can wear off after months of serious gaming, but it's purely cosmetic. The feet have come off mine, but the tracking and feel on the desk are still perfect. I have a desk with a polished walnut top, and a lot of mice are picky with it - but not this one. So there ARE cheap, single-laser mice out there that look good and perform well. I've been through a few keyboards since getting it, thanks to mishaps and my own cheaping out on them, but this mouse keeps on kickin'. I wish I could find a keyboard built to the same quality as this mouse!

would definitely recommend
This mouse is amazing and I love it. It's cost-efficient, and is on-par with the other popular gaming mouses(for CHEAPER, even.) It looks pretty sweet, too. The buttons to change mouse sensitivity (DPI, Dots Per Inch) actually changes the color of the light from red, to blue, to green and then a purplish-pink color. You can adjust the DPI for each color and much more, including how fast the color pulses, or set it to not at all when you program it using the CD they give you. It took me a bit to get used to because of the sides that stick out, but it's really not that much of a problem.Oh, and it's worth mentioning that you can program the DPI adjustment buttons as well as the forward and back ones on the side to do various things other than that. It doesn't HAVE to do what it's intended to, which is great.

Excellent mouse for the price
Considering how cheap it is, you'd expect the mouse to feel and act cheap -- not so. I wouldn't say it's on par with the $100+ gaming mice, but if you're a casual gamer or just really want a mouse with extra buttons (or you just happen to love Transformers), you'll love this mouse.Only con I've noticed is the spelling errors in the software... Usually that's a red flag for me as far as quality, etc, but haven't had any issues with the mouse.-------- UPDATE 4/13/2016 --------The right click started double-right-clicking, which started out as simply an annoying thing I just needed to work around, since I use the right click as a 'paste' button in a program for work (putty). It would paste things multiple times, so I had to stop using the right click in that program. I figured since right click still worked fine everywhere else, no big deal, I'd get over it. Well, then it started making it impossible to bring up the context menu elsewhere. Hopefully just an issue with my specific mouse, but I had also been using it fairly regularly for about 2 and a half years, so I guess I can't really complain too much. It was cheap, and served me well for about 2 years before the issues started. Also, the copper finish rubs off very easily. Not something I cared too much about, but others might.

Excellent Budget Gaming Mouse
I was very satisfied with this mouse. It has a good ergonomic shape to fit my large hands, it isn't too heavy or light, aesthetically it looks quite impressive (especially for the price), and it has the ever-useful two thumb buttons. But there are a couple of things to note. The bronze-like section of the mouse quickly begins to lightly corrode where your palm rests just from normal usage. Not a big deal and not hugely noticeable except when the light hits it a certain way, but keep in mind that it won't look new and perfect for long. The driver software generally has what you'd expect on it, but as previously mentioned it does have grammatical errors and typos in it. It's easy to understand still so not a big deal, just a bit unprofessional. Other than that, the only complaint I had about it was that, while technically you can change what DPI setting is associated with what color, you can only do it by changing what DPI is associated with each of the four steps (that you switch between with the DPI buttons on the mouse). This means that if you really want, say, blue to be the color associated with the highest DPI, you can do that, but only by modifying the second DPI setting to apply the maximum DPI. Which means that when switching between DPI settings, all of a sudden you jump from, say, 500 DPI to 2000 DPI to 1500 DPI, so it's no longer intuitive if you do that. The ability to change the color of each step separately would've been very helpful. Lastly, the thumb buttons are quite easy to push. This is nice in one way (doesn't take much thumb pressure to use them, unlike my last mouse), but it means that when placing my hand on the mouse I often accidentally push one of them, since it takes so little pressure.Overall though, this is an excellent gaming mouse for a very good price. If you don't care about having a ton of extra buttons and don't feel like paying through the nose just so your mouse says "Razr" on it, I'd highly recommend this mouse.

Perixx MX-1000 vs. Zelotes Gaming Maus

Great features at great price!
I have been looking for a "basic" gaming mouse for some time to replace my expensive Mad Catz (Cyborg?) R.A.T. 5 that went wonky after just two years of low-medium gaming use - it starting registering multi-clicks of the left mouse button on every actual single click (multiple browser tabs would shut when I tried to close just one; in games, the multi-clicks weren't recognized so instead would not register any clicks at all or just a single click even if I held the mouse down for rapid-fire or drag and select units). For me, I don't need an 11 button, several macro programmable, wireless, 6000 DPI gaming mouse. I do need a 5 button mouse and a CPI (better known as DPI) selector switch or set of buttons. This mouse offers 7 buttons (yes everyone, that includes the standard and almost never reprogrammed Left & Right mouse buttons) including the 2 CPI buttons. This means you'd really likely only to remap a maximum of 3 buttons depending on your game as Left, Right, and the CPI buttons would stay at default. This leaves you the two side thumb buttons, and then the scroll wheel press button. The screenshot showing the software that comes with this is also a big selling point as it appears to also have several great macro or profile setups a gamer could use, at a fraction of the cost of the "heavy duty" or "pro" gaming mice out there. My only sore point about the software (and this is the norm when you can even get programming software on an inexpensive mouse) is that the minimum CPI setting is 500. Then, although it looks like a slide bar for different degrees upwards, it's all just 500 increments. This means you can select (for example) 500, 1000, 2000, 3500 if you wished (or any make-up of 500) but not 750, 1300, 2000, 3200. I actually would have preferred a less than 500 bare minimum starting point as (for whatever reason) my Borderlands 2 game is super mouse sensitive and I've been playing it at *250 CPI* just so I don't spin in place or get vertigo. Thankfully, a few hours test play at the minimum 500 CPI is working, just taking some slight retraining on my part. Sniping those headshots is still a breeze ;-)I did buy the Copper mouse before I realized there was an Iron version - available here:http://www.amazon.ca/Perixx-MX-1000-Programmable-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B008YFXG9K/ref=pd_bxgy_ce_img_cBut thought it still looks very cool, so it's no real point for or against. I include the Amazon link (if it didn't work, just look around the this item's page, the Iron one should also be showing on the recommended or similar items sections) only as that version has many more reviews for essentially the exact same mouse if people need any more convincing this is a great mouse in it's price range, truly unbeaten in anything else I've found at my local retailer. The LED light indicates whichever CPI level you have programmed: Red for 1st (or lowest), Blue for 2nd, Green for 3rd, and Purple for 4th (or highest). It even has options in the driver software to change the LED rightness and whether it pulses or not! However, unlike some other competing mice in the feature and price range, the LED does turn off when you power down your computer. The buttons are soft press, no heavy pressure required, though Left & Right do have a fairly audible click. The side buttons are very quiet, yet still have a satisfactory click. The scroll wheel is smooth and utterly silent.Since I was used to the RAT 5 mouse, dedicated right hand mouse with broad thumb rest, this ambidextrous mouse initially feels a little odd, with longer main buttons and CPI button closer to my base knuckles that require fully removing fingers from main use/rest position to press. There is no real thumb rest (I didn't realize how much I came to rely on it) but rather a thumb "bump" that you rest against and not on, but while still contacting your mousing surface. And this is on BOTH sides of the mouse for ambidextrous use. I've managed to get used to it by having my thumb press against left one and right ring finger rest against the right one to better move the mouse (I think I'm a "claw grip" mouse user...?)In addition to a full featured software package on mini-CD, it comes with a spare set of mouse gliders, and a lengthy and very detailed PDF manual (66 pages if memory serves) for fully using all it's features. No quick start guide or anything like that, but really not needed. I had it set up and running in minutes, and I need next to none of the software features at this time - other than the CPI selection and that doesn't require any reading o the manual to sort out. It's also got a long (I'd guess at least 4') braided USB cable.I highly recommend this as a medium-grade gaming mouse with some great pro gaming software options. It's genuinely very hard to find all this mouse has at any price under $25 and generally closer to $50 in your local retail shop. It's very deserving of a 5 star rating - I have elected to give it 4 stars only due to my personal preferences for the overall feel of the mouse and some slightly awkward button placement considering what I was used to. And because the CPI programming is not as useful as it would seem claiming it can go up to 4000, but only when starting at 500 and only in additional increments of 500.As an aside, I will very likely be buying another one very soon, this time the Iron plate one, for my daughter as she's due an upgrade on her simple 3 button mouse and I have every confidence in this product.

Consigliato
In conclusione, ne consiglio l'acquisto.
