I bought it for hard times or camping but put it in spaghetti yesterday. It's quite good. Small amount of water and fat in can. I appreciate beef, salt and no other ingredients. Taste good right out of can. Spaghetti was good.

This is unseasoned raw canned hamburger that is fully cooked in the can as it is canned, so yes there will be fat/grease included in the can just like there would be in your frying pan. The only ingredients are USA beef and sea salt. There isn't any MSG or other preservatives; and no water added.Just add your own seasoning according for your recipe there are so many possibilities for use such as spaghetti, lasagna, bolognese, tacos, burritos, sloppy joes, soups, chili, casseroles, dips any recipe you would use crumbled hamburger for.I use it at home, take it camping, use it for busy nights, and have it on hand for emergencies.

Love this.. this is wonderful for vegetable beef soup, chili, tacos, sloppy joes. I love that I always have real ground beef on hand for quick dinners.

After opening a can you're typically greeted with a layer of fat. Be not afraid of the fat, it holds flavour. As for "heating" I just mash it with a fork and nuke it in the microwave for a minute. After it comes out it tastes like fairly normal ground beef, maybe a bit saltier, add your normal spices and it's good to go. Saves a ton of time and cleanup of the stove/pans.Definitely doesn't have that corned beef taste that I was afraid it would. That being said, I strongly believe that canned chicken/fish are years ahead of canned beef in terms of flavour of the can vs normal.

They came in perfect condition. I read many reviews that recommended this brand. I have them for longterm storage so I have not opened one to taste as of yet, but I will soon. If there are any issues I will come back and let you all know.
