I am giving 5 stars out of the box for this grow light. I will update at a later date for it's performance. The light arrived in a timely manner, and was packaged well. Assembly was easy and didn't require any tools! I like the versatility. You can add additional lights by plugging directly into the existing light, and not having to use up wall outlets. The light is amazingly bright and the timer is a great function; just set it and go (4, 8, or 12 hour options). The size and appearance is nice for the home setting. Time will tell if this light is a good value for the money...will update on how the plants like it after a few months.

It is providing enough light for my tropical carnivorous plants! This has been an issue with other lights that claim to be a grow light.

This is the brightest grow light of its type in this price range I’ve come across. It’s pretty much as bright as an open window with indirect light! So while this may be a good thing for some, it isn’t exactly what I’m looking for right now. I like the design and construction though, the stand for the tabletop model is sturdy and doesn’t fall over. I’m also a fan of the simple manual on/off switch. Lights that come with digital switches with built in timers, when them timer breaks, you can’t just connect them to a separate mechanical timer. Cutting power to them makes it so you have to physically press the button to turn it on again. Basic switch lights like this one are more reliable.I do wish this had some type of manual dial on the light itself to adjust the brightness directly, because then it would be perfect for what I need! I may just go ahead and keep it instead of returning it in case I ever want a brighter light.The tone of the light is on the warmer side rather than cooler side, just FYI. But it’s not yellow. It matches the tone of sunlight pretty closely.

The product is easy to use and requires a little assembly, but nothing too complicated. The timer is extremely well i often get scared when it shuts off automatically. No flickering and the light quality is bright and will help indoor plants grow.

This light worked well. Like that it's adjustable, yet compact. Our plants grew well and got a good start before we transplanted them outside.
