They need break in time, then they are awesome.
I love these speakers. Very good to listen to all kinds of music. Not needing all the equipment and to be able to Bluetooth to all my devices is excellent. I do wish they had used the more updated bluetooth tech., but you cant win them all. The only issue I have had and it is rare is that they have a bit of trouble connecting. This is usually rectified by turning a device off and then on. Sound quality is great, especially after you give them some break in. They don't need to be super loud to hear, but, they definitely like being turned up. I use them for TV, and to stream music in my house. I would definitely recommend. Powered speakers are the wave of the future to me.

Klipsch =Greatness!!!
I originally bought a set of the fives to use with my 77 inch C2 Oled tv. While the fives are great I wanted something a bit bigger n more powerful! The sevens are the perfect fit, bigger n much more powerful! They sound fantastic when watching movies and listening to music! I have an svs micro 3000 sub hooked up to them and it's a great combo, adds more bottom end bass to movies n music! I bought the klipsch KS series 24 stands to use with them and they are fantastic and heavy duty and best of all the sevens bolt to them for a very secure fit, who wants to worry about their $1400.00 speakers being knocked off....not this guy 💯! N now I have zero worries!!! The sevens are so much larger than the fives, it's hard to see the real difference not in person! I bought the black version of the sevens and they are a thing of beauty. The magnetic grills are great and the roller knobs up top are fantastic! They definitely aren't cheap but you definitely get what u pay for, awesome klipsch quality! By themselves they have quite a bit of bass as I tried them with some old school nwa and they were hittin hard!!! I was going to get the Nines but I heard n read they are more geared toward music n not all around and since I watch alot of movies n play games I went for the sevens and I'm glad I did!!! If you have the budget then I highly recommend these beautiful bad boys. Rock on 🤘!!!

Dead after 23 Months
Well... These were my all-time favorite speakers I had ever owned, and by a wide margin. Sound was absolutely incredible, dare I even say perfect. But, unfortunately, just like many other reviews I've been noticing as of recent, these speakers were poorly designed using extremely low quality components and they have a tendency to die. That's just what happened to me today...Several weeks ago I noticed a static-laced "clicking" sound that would go on for about ten seconds before the system started up. As the days went on, it would go on for longer and longer. Eventually it would take anywhere from 5 - 10 minutes just for the system to start up and get any audio output from it whatsoever. Then came today...Cables were replaced, various inputs tested, app updates, etc. and nada, nothing, DOA... Three hours of trouble-shooting and it's safe to say they just completely gave up the ghost. And, most conveniently, being that I'm out of warranty, they basically told me I'm SOL and offered to SELL me a replacement amplifier board. Yeah, no thanks. I'm extremely disgusted at the moment and will never, ever, under any circumstance buy another Klipsch product for the rest of my life, passive, active, whatever. I'm done with Klipsch. It's clearly no longer the great American company that it once was, but then again, what really even is still in this day and age?Look elsewhere for quality audio products, and (as much as I loved and had a strong preference for active systems) buy passive speakers and separates, it will serve you better in the long haul.

Fantastic listening experience, and audio versatility.
The speakers sound great, what else can I say that hasn't been said already. The delivery experience was thankfully uneventful, and the product was effectively secured for transportation. The sound is crisp and bright without sounding tinny; there is a clear delineation between highs and mids, and while the bass isn't overwhelming, is provides for a fuller sound than I've experienced with smaller speakers. The sub line-out signal is phenomenal, pushing an older JBL powered woofer harder than my old Yamaha receiver could, and at not very high volumes; substantive bass without having to push the mid-ends into uncomfortable auditory ranges.The only thing I would consider a possible point of caution is that the speaker with all the electronics (DAC, power supply, etc.) gets very hot after prolonged use - think 3 to 4 hours - and there is no heatsink attached to the back of the unit to aid in heat dissipation. High heat and complex circuitry are not constructive bedfellows and the long-term health of the unit is something to take into account.Otherwise a fantastic purchase and shopping experience that I would have no reservations about recommending or utilizing again.

A Goldilocks fit for size and sound!
I have had these for a month and I also own two pairs of The Fives that I have had for over a year. I wanted a set of speakers for a 20x24 foot family room with arched ceilings that I felt The Fives would struggle with. I looked at The Nines first but after reading all the specs I determined The Sevens would be a better fit for the room. The Sevens fit perfectly for the aesthetics and provide PLENTY of room filling sound. Klipsch has updated the Sevens so that you will not need to use the updater app but you still need to use the connect app. The connect app is clumsy and clunky but you will need it to make all EQ adjustments and access the software updates. Once you sync the app to the Sevens you can download the four updates and then have a go at the EQ settings. I spent a good deal of time dialing the EQ settings in and the results were worth the time. My only gripe is that the supplied remote is as minimal as it gets and basicly forces you to use the connect app. The end result is great. All you need is a signal from HDMI( e arc),optical,Bluetooth,RCA or Phono and you are in buisiness! 5 stars for the sound and 1 for the supplied remote.
