I must say, it is a delight to see these works gathered in one splendid volume. Since the pandemic lockdown I've been catching up with the classics. And in my old(er) age I'm finding that I am getting a lot more out of Victorian-era literature than when I was a stubborn high school student. So... catching up with Jules Verne has been a pleasure, particularly with this edition. It claims to be leather bound (I can't really tell) and the page edges are gilded, which makes for a handsome book. The type is a decent size and since Jules Verne chops his stories up in to small chapters, it's an easy read. I've already put in an order for the Canterbury Classics Grimm Brothers and will probably add more Classics to my book collection in the near future.

This is incredible value for this leather bound of Jules vern works. I love to display leather bound books and this one is not only cheaper than most, its prettier too! Would highly recommend!

Really nice book, nicely bound and the pages are great quality. Lays flat when you open it.

Purchased this book for my teenage grandson. Contains several of the popular Jules Verne stories and I hope he keeps the book to pass one day to his children.

Entertainment by reading, reminds me of my childhood.

The Canterbury Classics books have to be one of my favorite book editions. The covers always looks so beautiful and the golden pages are so elegant! It's the perfect collection of Jules Verne stories and great for people who have not yet read anything from this wonderful author.
