## Description

In 2005, a legend was born on the PlayStation 2 - the legend of Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, in his video game debut with Yakuza. Now, 11 years after that release, a new generation of players will be able to experience the incomparable action and drama of the Yakuza series with the rebuilt-from-scratch HD remake exclusive to PlayStation 4, Yakuza Kiwami. "Kiwami" means Extreme, and the game takes that concept to heart. It's not an HD-remaster or up-razzing of PS2-era textures. Yakuza Kiwami was recreated from the ground up exclusively for the PlayStation 4. That means every visual element was optimized for the 1080p/60fps environment, every line of the script was re-recorded by series actors and for the first time in the West, gamers will be able to hear the original Japanese language track. Then there's the game itself! The PS2-era brawling gameplay is refined for the current gen with Kazuma Kiryu fighting his way through the ranks of Yakuza, only to wind up protecting a young girl whose aunt (and who happens to be Kiryu's childhood sweetheart) is missing...along with 10 billion yen. 1 Game Disc

Review: Better than Yakuza 0 (don't hurt me!) - Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of Yakuza, originally released on the Playstation 2 in 2005. This version of the game is a grounds up remake, featuring new graphics, dialogue, added content and loads more. It was originally released in Japan on Playstation 3 and 4 in 2016, eventually making it over to western countries soon after. After playing through Yakuza 0, I felt a bit exhausted and completely done in with the series. But something caused an itch that needed scratched and I found myself back with Yakuza Kiwami. Not only did that exhaustion go, I found myself enjoying it considerably more. The game felt like a natural successor to Yakuza 0 but improving on things I didn't really like. The best example of that would be the over all pacing of the story (it's considerably shorter) and the fact that the upgrade system is back to being points based and not the awful money based system of Yakuza 0. Like all the other games, this one is full of so many mini games that you can be lost in here for weeks. You'll find the usual bowling games, the gambling den, the batting court, hostess clubs and so on. It's all more of the same, just with nicer graphics. As mentioned above, I much preferred this games story and pacing. It's considerably shorter and felt more focused as a result. I wasn't playing this one for the mini games and it made it roll by very quickly. Though, I did find myself hooked at times. The biggest change I think this game has is the Mojima Everywhere mini game. Throughout Yakuza Kiwami, our old pal Goro is hiding behind corners, dressing up as police officers, pole dancers etc to try force Kazuma into a fight. This means that you'll be jumped from behind a lot. To begin with, it can be a little frustrating. But the more you level up, the stronger Kaz becomes and the quicker you beat Goro into submission. It feels like a more brutal take on the Mr Shakedown events from Yakuza 0 but considerably more rewarding. As a game, it looks good and controls well. It feels no different from every other Yakuza game and will be an easy pick up and play for fans of the series. Those starting the series will be better off starting at Yakuza 0, as this one re-writes the original story to incorporate the prequel and continues the story. I've seen many people complain about this one compared to its predecessor, but I thought it was definitely worth picking up and is a fantastic game from start to finish. I preferred the faster pacing and the more basic story. A must have for the PS4!
Review: great - great game arrived on time good graphics good story i personally preferred this and yakuza 0 out of the 5 and 6

## Features

- Warning:Not suitable for children under 36 months
- Back to the Roots of the Yakuza Series:Kiwami adds nearly 30 minutes of cutscenes alone, providing all-new insight into the game's plot. There's also added distractions (Pocket Circuit car racing, MesuKing: Battle Bug Beauties, new hostesses, and more), side quests and combat updates to bring the original Yakuza game up to date
- Great Starting Place For Newcomers: Newcomers or those whose Yakuza experience started with Yakuza 0 will have familiar, exacting controls, top-notch SEGA localization, and a solid starting point for entering the Yakuza franchise fresh. Veterans will experience a familiar Kamurocho and plot, but with new levels of story depth and graphical polish
- Majima Everywhere : Completely new to Kiwami is the "Majima Everywhere" system, where the series' deranged, one-eyed maniac will constantly surprise and challenge Kiryu to combat when he least expects it. We're talking "popping out of a goofy costume" levels of surprise, so players must stay on their toes and be ready to defend themselves from Kiryu's chief rival
- Extreme Revitalization : Kiwami is rebuilt from the ground up with all new HD assets, exclusive Japanese voice audio re-recorded by the series cast, and more
- optimized for the PlayStation 4 and running in 1080p/60fps.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Precinto no original
*by G***O on 17 January 2022*

El juego es un escándolo (de bueno) aunque hay que superar la barrera del idioma (viene en inglés). Aparte de eso, el precinto no es el original.
