Every year during summer when tomatoes are growing in my polytunnel I used to get bitten by bugs that were somehow getting through the mesh on the doors. After a day I would come out with multiple really itchy bites everywhere., and I mean everywhere, Ouch!I tried various mosquito and insect repellents but found that only ones with deet in worked. Horrible stuff, it stinks and is oily. After doing some more research online I finally came across Mosi-Guard and then looked into the main ingredient Citriodol, which is derived from Eucalyptus Citriodora trees. After reading about the properties etc. I then gave it a try with a great result, no more bites, so yes it really does work at keeping the biting bugs away.I highly recommend Mosi-Guard, it's natural, it's easily absorbed and leaves no oily residue on the skin and for me it 100% works

I hike and I use this as an insect repellent all summer. It works here in the UK. I apply it round my neck and hairline, waist, wrists and ankles in the morning before I go out and again midday. If I was going to a malaria area in mosquito season, I would probably use DEET. I've relied on mosiguard for years with good results. They used to make a tube of cream which was my favourite method of application but discontinued it years ago. No idea why. For some reason the roll-on smells strongest. Again no idea why.

Best natural bug spray out there. Stops flying beasties & ticks from biting.

I really don't know why but mosquitoes absolutely love me. I'm far tastier than anyone I'm ever on holiday with, which is great for them but clearly not for me. When I was using this I wasn't getting bitten, but then I ran out and got a ton of bites. It was good stuff and worked but you don't get loads of it. You might need more than one to last a week and you definitely will if you're mixing with the mozzies for longer!

Used in Greece in August - only one or two bites in places I couldn't reach! Had the added advantage of being so smelly that it also kept mozzies from my other half as well! Smells very strongly of citronella and other natural repellents, and is also very 'cooling' on the skin when you apply it (other half tried it and had to wash it off as it felt too strong). I thought it was brilliant: I quite liked the smell, and I liked the cooling effect in the heat.
