Really clever piece of kit for locating wall joists and power cables behind internal walls. Even gives you a center line for a hidden joist.

Well constructed but a bit iffy on detection sometimes.

Aparently a piece of 2x4 has power running through it and so does my door.....Most useless piece of kit i have ever bought. Beeps at its own shadow. Detects electric where there is none and doesn't detect where there is cables.Bought to replace an aging detector which was on its last legs and its actually scary how bad it is.Ended up in the bin before it caused an accident with its false readings.Avoid unless you want to randomly drill holes in your wall chasing false readings or want to experience the thrill of screwing through a power line with your drill.HANMATEK definitely a brand to add to the avoid at all costs list.
