Q: The price on this is excellent. The last time I used a wedge, my neck and hip hurt when I tried laying on my side. How can I prevent this?

Wedges are designed to be used with the largest face of the wedge facing upward. The user lays down flat on their back, with their hips at the base of the wedge and their shoulders at the elevated end. The wedge supports the body from the hip up to the shoulders and neck. By putting pillows or body pillows along both sides of the body will help keep the body from rotating onto the side.

Q: Under the pillow cover the wedge pillow has a net type fabric on it, so I take that off?

I didn't have a net/mesh type fabric under my top cover. The inside cover over the foam was a silky type,one piece,sewn on cover. Just an FYI ---I really like my wedge pi!low. I'm a back sleeper but can't sleep flat. This pillow is the perfect height. 🙂🙂

Letting it "fluff up" for 3 - 5 days, isn't just for it to expand to optimal size, it's also to let it air out. The materials on foam, especially new foam has chemical fumes and particles coming off it. The "fluff up" period helps to disapate them. Not doing the 3 - 5 day fluff up period might not harm a healthy person, but someone with COPD, asthma, allergies or othe respiratory or immune compromised conditions could give them distress.

Q: Which side is top and which side is the bottom? There's no blue memory foam. It's all one color. Is it tag and zipper up, or down?

I presume the tag-side down is proper, but really it depends on which is more comfortable for the individual. I purchased a separate cover to match my bedding and I have it where the distance from top to bottom is a bit shorter and my torso is a little higher. That helps me best with reflux.

I should have bought one sooner!

I bought the 10 x 24 x 24“ wedge and I really love it! I have suffered with acid reflux for a number of years and would stack my pillows every night to position them to get the right elevation and comfort. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a foam wedge and I was not disappointed! It worked very well and I really like it. It helps keep my head elevated so that I am not at all affected by acid. However, at about 4 o’clock in the morning, I take the wedge off and go back to my standard pillows because, while it is comfortable to a certain point, in about the middle of the night, there’s just nothing like getting flat.

Great! Multiple purpose

Got this for postpartum as recommended by my physical therapist. She says resting with your butt elevated helps prevent prolapse and other issues. Sure enough, no prolapse and now this works well as a back rest while nursing. Very supportive and firm but not too hard. Came vacuum sealed and took a bit to fluff! Was nice to elevate feet/ankles while pregnant and help with swelling. I’ll be vacuum sealing and saving for next pregnancy! Thank you!

If you need elevation when resting this could help

This thing is BIG! It worked OK for the medical situation I was in but hard to get used to. Plus it's quite a large item to store (I don't have a lot of extra space). Got the job done though and got me through my issues when I needed it. It is well made. It is fairly firm.

A lifesaver!

It came squished and when I took it out, shaped up to the perfect size. Usually new pillows smell, but this had no smell at all. I used it after neck surgery to be elevated, it worked great! Solid support, but not stiff. I got to sleep in my own bed, and got much better sleep.

Very firm, too firm for my taste. Best for people who sleep on their back. Quite a decent size, so could accommodate someone with a larger frame body.
