Exo Terra Basking Lamp Terrarium Fixture

So far so good, not too sure I like the way it’s only secured to the wall of the viv by two sticky pads so I’m concerned it’s going to fall down n smash the bulb while I’m out one day so I’m going to have to drill at least two holes in the mounting bracket just to be on the safe side, (just a heads up/advice for Exo Terra)

Great basking light, gave it four stars as the adhesive pad isnt very practical once its stuck on its stays there, a clamp wouldve been better

Useless. Purchased to replace an old one which lasted about 6 months as the adhesive had peeled off and almost killed my tortoise. As you can see in the photo it has started to happen again! Only had this one a month but the product will not stick back so it's slowly going to lose its adhesive. Avoid this product.

It’s great! It’s on a swing arm so it can be moved to suit your pets needs. I know full well how naff the sticky pads are so we just gorilla glued it on and it hasn’t budged since

Hält mit den Klebepads perfekt an der Seitenwand eines Glasterrariums.Die Höhe ist verstellbar.Eine horizontale Einstellmöglichkeit wäre noch toll gewesen, aber über die Abmessungen kann man sich ja vor dem Kauf informieren.Terrarium Lampen und andere Strahler unterschiedlichster Größe passen problemlos hinein.Bin vollstens zufrieden, jedoch könnte die Halterung ein klein wenig günstiger sein.Die negative Bewertung einer Dame bezüglich einer Amazon Retoure gehört wohl eher in ihr persönliches Tagebuch und hat rein gar nichts mit dem Produkt zu tun. Für Selbstgespräche sind die Rezensionen sicher nicht gedacht

So worth it. Anyone who wants a nice, safely constructed terrarium should be buying this fixture. It looks so much nicer than those ugly spot lamps. I should also mention I recently talked to someone who has a spot lamp that blew up and almost started a house fire had she not been in the room when it happened.... So yes people don't be cheap!!!!! Spend the extra money now it's durable and will last forever.

use any turn on its axis made the angle of the bend more noticeable. Worse was the fact that once that adhesive is on there, it does not want to come off, to make room for the old fixture, I had to literally cut the power cable in order to pull it through the mount, some people have recommended heat guns and the like for removal, but I cant afford to make a mistake that breaks my terrarium. So the mount is still glued to the back of my tank, as little more than a reminder of how terrible the purchase was.

Die Lampe macht einen guten Eindruck und ist ein absoluter Hingucker. Sie schaut sehr edel aus und ist auch gut verarbeitet.Leider kann ich bis jetzt nur Angaben zum Design/Optik machen, da ich sie noch nicht angeschlossen habe. Von anderen Modellen von EXO TERRA wurde ich aber bisher auch nicht enttäuscht, so dass ich davon ausgehe, dass auch dieses Modell seinen Zweck erfüllt und es keine Mängel geben wird.Leider hat die Lampe tatsächlich keinen standartmäßiges EU Stecker. Da mein Mann jedoch handwerklich was drauf hat und den Stecker austauscht, ist es für uns kein Grund, die Lampe zurück zu geben. Es wäre jedoch prima, wenn man in der Beschreibung darauf hingewiesen werden würde. Sollte man handwerklich nicht so fit sein, tut es auch ein Adapterstecker.

Habe zwei von dieser Halterung im Betrieb. Vom der Verarbeitung des Metalls und Lackierung ist nicht auszusetzen. Einzige was nicht gut ist, ist die Befestigung. Die Befestigung wird mit doppelseitigen Klebeband an der Scheibe angebracht und der Kleber hält nicht. Der geht oft ab so das die Lampe runter fällt.Wenn diese Rezension hilfreich war, würde ich mich über einen entsprechenden Klick freuen! :)
