Rugged and easy to adjust
Perfect for deadlifts at home. No worries about dropping the barbell.

Good for rack pulls
Got this for rack pulls and it works great. Sturdier than I expected, no instructions but easy enough to assemble that none were needed. Straps are very sturdy and were already connected.

Great for hardwood floors and dismounting from hip thrusts; mind the bolt threads!
This is certainly a nice-to-have in my second floor indoor gym. I bought these because the only thing protecting my floors is a 1/4" rubber mat. While I don't intend to drop my barbell from waist height or anything, there are times when I'm deadlifting that the bar hits a bit harder. And I'd like to really push myself to such exhaustion during those last few reps that my last one isn't quite so controlled at the very bottom as I set it down. These fit the bill for my use case quite nicely. Yes, with 45 plates there are still a few inches off the ground. Hard to avoid that I suspect. One design feature request I'd make to the manufacturers is to use bolts that are unthreaded for the section of contact with the nylon straps. Those threads are likely going to cut into the nylon over time and use and eventually necessitate replacing the straps (which... would be a major PIA if not impossible). An alternative workaround that I did was to cut 3 1/4" sections of conduit pipe to surround the contact area of the bolt. Unfortunately, this raises the height of the strap and the bar is off the ground another inch as a result. (After modification, the bottom of my 45 plate is 3.5in from the ground.) Not a deal breaker for me, but I'd rather deal with that than replace the strap when it inevitably gets chewed up by the bolt threads. This product is still really nice to have despite the above. Changing plates is a bit easier. I also use this to dismount the bar from hip thrusts. It takes some figuring out how best to position the stands appropriately, but once you do it does make that exercise much less cumbersome, especially for higher weights.

Lowest setting is too high, only good for rack pulls
Bought this after seeing youtube reviews of a similar product where it's just high enough off the ground to load 45s, but more or less the same height as a normal deadlift. At the lowest setting there is 3" between the plate and the ground, which is a pretty big difference if you are powerlifting.
