Did not just snap in place for me.
Product was an exact fit. Not OEM but did a very good job of replicating the original.It seems that it was to just snap in place, I tried but would not snap in for me. I used a towel over it and tried to press it in. After several unsuccessful attempts I got a would clamp that I placed between the mirror and the mirror frame and slowly cranked the screw like vise in. The replacement mirror just snapped in place and after that was well attached and functions just as it should. Not sure why I could not get it to fit with just using my hands but the clamp made quick work of it.

Clips are a little difficult to insert into back of mirror glass.
Once I got clips installed easy to attach to base. Looks nice. Fits perfect.
