TefalGV8932 Pro Express Total Auto High Pressure Steam Generator, 2400 W

This must be the fifth iron of this type I've had over the last 30 years. This one is the best. Ironing is so easy, even linen and very creased cotton iron really well and it is great for delicate fabrics. My other irons needed programming but this one is so easy to use. Not a bit complicated, just a couple of buttons to press and success every time. And, it turns itself off if left unattended, which is a great bonus. The water container is easy to remove and refill and the iron is much lighter than my other models. Best purchase I've made in a long time. Love it!!

Purchase this as a warehouse deal. Excellent iron fully automatic. Good steam production when u need. Simple to operate and not too heavy to use. I tend to do all my ironing for the week together in one go and this can get through it all on one tank full of water. No need to repeated full the water tank. Enough steam generated and gets through the workload quickly. Happy with my purchase so far. It’s stored in the cupboard and is easy enough to lift and store.

Might be early to write a review after only 1 use. I will revise later if it feels different in time.First of all I need to say that I have owned for 7.5 years one steam generator produced by Siemens that still goes strong, but I wanted an upgrade because it needed cleaning too often lately. I was looking to buy the same Siemens one or any other steam generator of same make, however they look unavailable in the UK or probably discontinued. So I started looking at different brands and reached to this Tefal iron which I received a day ago.Good points:- looks nice and does the job- long enough plug and steam wires- the steam is coming clean and constant- it is ready hot quickly- not too bulky- the water tank comes out for filling- can be kept upright on the ironing board (I need to get used to this)- does the job!Now the "disappointing my expectations" or "comparing with my old one" points:- it is very heavy, twice as heavy as the old Siemens;- when I press the button for the steam to be released the click sound is loud and "plastic-ky" not rubbery soft;- it does not have a separate pad to be kept on the ironing board while hot and in use (however it can be left upright if the station is further). I prefer the station not on the ironing board to avoid accidents with the kids (see the picture with the IKEA Kallax shelf), therefore I always keep id down. Since the cord is long enough it is ok I guess, but still I would preferred a separate pad for the ironing board.Overall looks like a good product. Less one star mainly because of its weight in hand while in use.If it lasts for as long as my old one which was in the same price range, I will be very happy!Edited to add (after 5 years of moderate use): I got used to the size in the meantime. It looks and works like on day one. The only thing I don't like is it being bulky to move around the house when I need to iron in a different room. Overall very happy with my purchase so far.

I love this iron. Great quality. Delivers loads of steam. It is the pointiest base I've had on an iron which is great for fiddly things like shirts.I really miss the retractable cord of my previous iron - I have no clue why they would have removed that feature, it is less tidy and convenient.

I have been using this iron for 2 years at work and it makes ironing a dream it has reduced in price so I brought one and even my husband raves about itEverything is easyier it powers through creasesI would say though you need a longer ironing board that can take steam generator ironsAnd the ironing unit is heavyBut the actual iron isn’tYou will not be disappointed in this iron and I know it lasts a long long timeKeep it wiped after use and make sure when the button tells you to anti scale you do and you won’t have any issues x

Excellent quality and robust steam Iron an upgrade in my last model which I had for 7 years before it started to play up.The amount of steam is excellent, the removable refill pot for water is so much more convenient. The steam is more controllable, allowing for faster ironing and less damage to clothes.Would highly recommend.

Great iron. After 7 months of using it (on average once per week I would say), it's working fine and makes ironing an easy chore. Good idea to allow 3 settings of heating.

Makes ironing a pleasure. Easy to use.
