It has been years since I bought
It is sharp as the first time. Smal to larger branches I use. Very easy to hold and use. Ergonomic shape. Good quality.

Lightweight and good cutter but perhaps a bit flimsy
Took a couple of goes to get used to the ratchet mechanism but works really well. Used for cutting back woody cherry tree suckers around 1cm or more thick. Makes easy work of those and thick brambles. Only complaint is the sliding lock is fairly tricky needing a couple of goes and fairly tight squeeze to get closed. The sliding catch feels like fairly flimsy plastic so don’t know how long it will survive this effort. Makes it secure against little hands but not sure I’d recommend for the elderly for this reason.

Lightweight, easy cutting, value for money
Fast delivery, arrived next day! Have tried them out already and very impressed with how easily they slice through shrubs and small branches without putting strain on my hand! Much easier than my standard secateurs and at a great price too!! Thank you Petal Power !!Sam West

They make the job easier
These secateurs are robust. I suffer from arthritis and as i have to do a lot of pruning, I have suffered from pain in my hands and wrists. Using these for cutting larger stems has certainly helped in reducing pain and also made the job much easier. The only drawback i've found so far is that when in bypass mode the lever to change mode tends to move and the cut is not as clean as it should be, but this is easily remedied by moving the lever back to its position. Overall. i'm very satisfied

Secateurs broke after less than a years use.
Bought them in July '21 & used them during summer. Tried using them in March '22, but the Ratchet & Shear selector is loose & the Secateurs will not cut. Unable to return because it's longer than 30 days since I purchased.

A good choice for my wife.
My wife doesn't have much power in either of her hands and she has found these secateurs very easy to use. Her ability to prune rose bushes and shrubs generally much improved. Would recommend to someone with weak hands. They are very light and easy to use.

No good for arthritis
Bought for my other half who has arthritis in her hands as she wanted a way to carry on pruning but without needing to apply a lot of force. These are useless as the rachet only works with higher resistance materials such as a 7mm branch and the force needed to cut is too high. Yes I can use them to cut through thicker branches than a normal set of secateurs would, but really I should be using proper loppers for those. There is no advantage to smaller stems and they are heavy too, much heavier than my plastic Fiskers, so she just doesn't like trying to use them.

Pretty Average
I bought 2 pairs of these. The secateurs cut really well but I was surprised that the safety catch on one pair is very stiff to use. Considering the price, I expected them to be better made- the catch is rather flimsy plastic, as is the selection catch for choosing ratchet or single use. The handles are quite straight, so I imagine they might be uncomfortable for prolonged use. They are certainly light and can handle quite thick branches. They are less effective with single use on stems. I am a bit disappointed.
