Battery arrived in good time and works perfectly with my Roomba 700 series

I'm really happy with this battery, it's brought my Roomba back to life!

At last, my roomba is back to amazing me every day with the level of filth in this house (caused by my four cats, nothing to do with me of course). The only time the roomba hasn’t found it’s way back to its charger and the battery gave out was when it pushed something in front of the docking station and it couldn’t dock. I think it had run for about 4 hours. Is that even possible? Anyway, I bought this particular battery off the strength of other reviews, so I’m adding to the positives. Worth the money.

The battery in my aging Roomba 555 was only holding a charge for about 20m. As the Robot itself was working perfectly, I decided to try a new battery. The cost of an official battery from the iRobot web site was £80; more than one third of the cost of a new robot. I decided to try one of the many 3rd party batteries, ie the 'BAKTH'. It arrived quickly (thanks to Amazon) and was pre-charged. The BAKTH was a tighter fit than the original battery but it still fitted and seemed to work ok until I tried to charge it. After a few seconds, the robot said 'Charging Error 1'. I did all the usual things like re-seating the battery, cleaning the contacts, a reset and plugging the charger directly into the robot but none of it made any difference. When I put the old battery back in charged normally. I swapped them round a few times but the result was always the same. Fortunately the Amazon returns policy has made it very easy for me to send it back and get a refund. However, although this battery is much cheaper, the saving is irrelevant if it will not charge. Maybe the battery will work in other 500 series robots (although I doubt it) but it definitely is not suitable for the 555

I have given 4 stars because to date I am happy with the battery . The iRobot Roomba 620 has only been used 3 times since the battery was replaced last week so this means it is not possible to comment on longevity or battery life. It did 4o minutes on its first session but this could improve after its been run down a few more times. So far so good. Thank you for the early delivery.

Our Roomba 770, which we love, is 7/8 years old and kept returning to dock/recharge after a minute or so and it was a question of whether to spend (and possibly waste) £25 and try a new battery first or simply buy a new cleaner. I took the first option. The battery was easy to fit, needed fully charging before the first use, and best of all it worked like a dream. Better suction (the dust container was cram full) and the cleaner did the whole ground floor (largish house with carpets throughout) before returning to dock and recharging. It is only two weeks since fitting but it looks a good option and we do not need a new cleaner. Very pleased - and the battery was delivered promptly!

Working well so far although only had it a week.

I’ve owned this battery for about a year, and the battery life has dropped dramatically. It now runs for around 5 minutes before dying, sometimes even less. Really disappointing. It worked well at first, but the battery longevity just isn’t there. Be prepared to replace it much sooner than expected.

La compré para sustituir la batería original de la roomba de mi abuela, lleva tiempo inactiva. La original ya no funcionaba. Esta nueva bateria tiene mismo tamaño original se coloca fácilmente y tiene algo más capacidad de carga. Llevamos un mes y algo usándola y cumple su función bien.

Schnelle Lieferung, Ersatzteil passt genau, minimale + ausreichende Verpackung. Der günstige Preis war entscheidend als primäre Kaufentscheidung. Nun hoffen wir, dass der Ersatzakku länger hält, als der Originalakku von Roomba für das Modell 630. NACHTRAG 2019: Der Ersatzakku hat nach ca. 30 Ladezyklen seine Geist aufgegeben. Die Garantiezeit war zu diesem Zeitpunkt gerade abgelaufen. Nachfragen beim Lieferanten wurden mit perfekten Stillhalten quittiert :-( NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT (auch wenn das Produkt günstig war, war es nicht preiswert).

Bien para roomba

Deescribo a la fecha despues de una semana de usarla que me llego en tiempo, la coloque y puse a la roomba a trabajar. Todo va muy bien. Recomiendo este producto

Édit : achat fait en nov 2019 - nous sommes en mai 2021 et le robot ne parcours que 2m avant de tomber en panne de batterie ! Moins de 2 ans après la batterie est à changer donc ... Commentaire initial: Comment donner un second souffle à mon roomba 780.... il ne tenait plus que 10 min et maintenant le voilà partie pour 2h de travail intensif :) super !
