Fulton Tiny 1 Umbrella Black

This umbrella is really really super light, tiny and extremely practical to carry around. In addition, it is very well designed and has good foldability. One of my rucksack has very small lateral pockets (with zips which close them), but this umbrella can be placed even in there! And it is so light that you never notice it. The first time I used it I was not still convinced that it was worth the price. However, I was definitely convinced about it and its value as it successfully faced an intense snowfall! So it passed its first exam with a great score. Nevertheless, I tend not to use it when it is very windy, as I am not sure how much it could resist in such a context, and even if it seems to be sturdier than it appears (due to its weight). To open it, you need to do it manually, as there is no button to push to open it. I always do it quite carefully, although I need to put a lot of pressure to open it properly. From this point of view, it is not the most comfortable umbrella. Compared to other similar items, this umbrella is more expensive, so I purchased as soon as I saw that it was on offer. Nonetheless, Fulton's quality does not need to be advertised and after having used it for several months I can say that it is worth the price. In respect of Amazon service, I am totally satisfied as the item was delivered safely and on time. Five stars!

It really is tiny and very light, when folded up - easily fits in a pocket... The canopy when extended is not huge, but will keep off a sharp shower. Wouldn't want to risk it in anything more than a breeze, but that's not the point. It'll stop your hairdo / new suit / whatever (delete as appropriate) from getting wet... Not cheap, but trade-off for tiny / light brolly! I like it - and so does my elderly mother, for whom I also bought one.

This is perfect for small handbags. It is very light-weight and packs up to a very small size (about the size of a hard-cased glasses case), and is perfect protection from possible sudden showers. I would say that it doesn't feel particularly sturdy, but so far I have not had any actual problems with it, but I would worry how it performs in strong gales. I get through a few umbrellas a year, either through breaking or loss, so I do not expect this one to last for years and years but so far it has performed well and I would buy it again because it is such a convenient size.

Unable to give a review as this item has been purchased for a Christmas present although it looks a perfect size for carrying in a handbag which is one of the reasons it was purchased.

i love these umbrellas, i never lose them because i never leave them around since they are so pocketable. you can get the water off of them and put them back in your pocket instantly thanks to the waterproof materials, and they are sturdy enough to last a long time. the only drawback is that they aren't the widest diameter meaning that you may get a bit wet in heavy rain. BUT at least you will ALWAYS have it with you. the best umbrella is the one you have with you when it rains!

I ordered one of these because they are very neat, fit in the pocket, and the one I bought in 2009 served me well until this year ; I only changed it because the fabric was wearing thin with use. However, Fulton have changed the opening mechanism and the new one simply does not stay open ; the catch disengages with the slightest movement.

Had this 3 years and managed not to loose it. Very small and light . Fits in coat pockets and won’t notice it, as a backup. Perfect urban emergency umbrella. Opens up quite big & does the job. Well done Fulton. Had a previous Fulton that lasted me over 10 years but they don’t make that anymore. Got another 7 years to go on this one ;-)

Smallest, lightest umbrella. Works easily. My third purchase of the same little umbrella. I carry it in my purse every day and this model been a good friend to have along for the last 20 years.

parapluie petit, léger et très résistant malgré son frêle aspect. tient dans la poche, s'ouvre et se replie facilement. Le seul bémol éventuel est son petit diamètre, on peut tenir à deux dessous en se serrant bien ;-) que des avantages pour quelqu'un ne désirant pas s'encombrer.

Bought this to travel around in Europe. It is the perfect size to put in a pocket just in case it rains. It is small but works just like a regular size umbrella. It is perfect for putting in a bag to go to a concert because it doesn't take up much room. I would highly recommend.

It's super practical as really tiny and a solid umbrella that you can carry everywhere.
