Lock & Lock HPL954 Multi-Use Storage and Transportation Box for 12 Eggs

Due to a recent change in diet, I am now eating more eggs and my wife has started to buy them in packs of twelve rather than the normal six. The egg holder tray in our fridge only takes six eggs so I was having to waste precious space by putting a half empty carton in the fridge. Buying this product allows us to dispense with the tray and have all our eggs in one basket so to speak. The product is well made and very robust as you would expect and is easy to open and close. The lid fits on securely and is held in place on all four sides by snug fitting flaps. It is quite a bit larger than a standard 12 egg cardboard box, but you would expect that due to the quality of the plastic used in its construction. It is however, no larger than it needs to be. I can thoroughly recommend this product to anyone who needs to store a relatively large amount of eggs in as small a space as possible.

The package arrived quickly and well packed The box is sturdy and has seals easily. The box is big enough for any eggs purchasable at the supermarket and is perfect for transporting them uncooked. Personally I use this for taking eggs to oil rigs on helicopters to make scrambled eggs, I've used it for 6 months over 60 flights, with zero broken eggs so far

Ordered two of these as I recently purchased a bread maker from Amazon to make my own 'Gluten Free' bread. The only trouble is the bread requires 4 eggs so needed to find something to keep them in as i find the egg cartons from the supermarket arent very good. These lock and lock egg containers are a very good quality. Can get most lock and lock containers in the shops but not these. The delivery was fast and they arrived in perfect condition. They also fit exactly in the fridge on the shelf from front to back of fridge.

I have 2 of these boxes now. They're good quality and the size is about that of a standard dozen egg box so they fit in the fridge easily. I love the fact that I can wash and reuse them as we put the eggs from our hens in them. They are much better for re-use than the shop bought cardboard cartons. The individual compartments seem big enough to take the larger eggs. The only slight downside is that quite a lot of condensation gathers in the lid of the box.

I've bought egg trays before only to see them crack easier than the eggs in them, or be so flimsy that they start to bend with just a dozen eggs in them, I guess you get what you pay for, and that's certainly the case with this egg tray. I'm not sure if they are "Made in Germany" {there's a German sticker on them} or just designed there, but they have that look and feel of a German product, and I'm really happy with the sturdiness, the look of them & most importantly you can put "Extra Large" 63mm / 2.5" eggs in the tray and still have head room so that when you put the XL eggs in the lid doesn't crush the eggs, I've had that problem with other egg trays, in fact there's 4/5mm headroom, so chances are these trays will take duck eggs too, depending how big yer ducks are ;-) If the above isn't enough to persuade you, these trays fit comfortably into the egg shelf in the fridge, IF that's where you want to store them. If there's a better ET out there then I've not seen them, but I have seen a lot of rubbish before, these are well worth the money and I'll be buying another one... Highly recommended, very happy with my purchase...

2500 miles with a dozen free range arriving in tact! Strong lid and, should the worse happen, it looks like the rubber seal will keep any gooey mess safe inside. Good product. Clear plastic means you can quickly see how many you have left too without the need to open it.

We buy eggs from a farm in bulk so need extra storage in the fridge. We also carry a dozen to my daughter’s. This container makes things nice and easy. Holds all our large eggs safely but maybe not for super large.

Pues es un tupper para huevos, una huevera sin mas. No es barato si comparas con otras opciones pero tiene una calidad buenísima, se aprecia la calidad del plástico nada mas tocarlo. El sistema de cierre de la tapa va genial, se queda completamente hermético. Lo recomiendo sin duda, muy útil para ampliar la capacidad de almacenaje de huevos en la nevera, y tiene pinta de durar muchos años, repito, muy buena calidad del plástico y de fabricación.

Muy buena calidad y hermético. Creo que será muy funcional para transportar los huevos entre todo el equipo de camping sin que yo sufra al día siguiente al preparar el desayuno.

Absolutely the best egg carton! It kept my colored eggs save and steady between the time they were colored and the time they were eaten. I love the sturdiness of the container, the way all sides locked with a snap, and the fact it is washable! Why didn't I get it beforehand, I don't know, but so happy with my purchase and the overnight delivery!
