I've bought so many knife sharpeners in the past and none have been any good. This one is different though because it works really well and is super easy to use. At last I've got sharp knives again. Definitely recommend this item

Sharpens but overall bad for the knife
This will sharpen your knife but it leaves a rather ragged, chipped edge. This slightly ragged edge has the benefit of having some 'bite', meaning it will slice very easily into things like tomato skin which normally requires a very finely sharpened blade. But you are essentially destroying the integrity of the edge by using this. I finish up with a few strokes on a chef's steel to clean the edge up a little. Perfect for cheap stainless steel knives but no replacement for sharpening stones if you really care about your knives.

Affordable, and it works!
I have a set of 'coloured' knives. Wasn't very sure how to sharpen them. Was also afraid that a sharpener would discover the edge of my knives.But no. All worked well.And this sharpener is so easy to use.Highly recommend.
