Decent product. removes excess water from glass and bodywork. The ideal way to finish off washing your car. Strong, durable and whilst they cost a little more, still value for money. Decent size, it brings my car up to a nice shine. Very effective.

Works well and would buy again

I was a car valeter and have used a lot of faux chamois. The last I bought was from a well known car accessory shop and I might as well have been using a sheet of cardboard to dry the car, completely useless, but it wasn't as expensive as this one. I was expecting it to be first class as with all Autoglym products. The material is thinner than I'm used to using and therefore easier to use, but it didn't dry the car with one sweep. It is pretty good, but they do reckon it gets better with use. We'll see.Well, it did get better, and when it eventually wore out, I bought another one, and another. But now they're sold in a cardboard box, so I keep the new one in the old plastic box, which keeps it moist.

A must have for removing excess water after washing your car. It really absorbs a lot of water, much better than real chamois leather.

I find it unbelievable at the amount of negative comments about this Synthetic Chamois I have been in most aspects of the Motor Trade in my working life (now retired) so I am very fussy about the appearance of my own "Mercedes", the amount that say it is not as good as a real leather,I have used many of the Auto Glym products over the years and I say they cannot be beaten. My car is coated with " Extra Deep Shine" polish which I replace every two or three years,I hand wash it with AG shampoo and these chamois leave a perfect finish.I have had many comments on how good it looks for an eleven year old 65,000 mile car. I can only think that the negative reviewers are not taking the same amount of care.
