Great!
I’m so happy with this sharpener! I had purchased a famous knife brand one which made my knives even duller (really strange :() so I returned that and got this one. This made even my cheap, 20 year old knives cut like brand new quality knives! I sharpened my old, cheap paring knives and then cut apples and tomatoes with them and it was like cutting through butter! I like that it has an Asian knife option since I just purchased a santoku knife. It’s super easy to use with good, comfortable ergonomic design. Highly recommend!

Useful
Great and convenient way to sharpen knives, though I wish it worked for serrated knives and scissors.

Good for every day knife edge maintenance
There's a lot of different types of these sharpeners to consider but I found this one has the best balance between versatility, ease of use and suitable for kitchen drawers. I have both regular and Asian knives and having a coarse and fine slot for each while keeping the whole thing easy to take out of a drawer, do a quick touch-up on a knife and putting it back is essential. Feels solid, great grip, overall a winner.

Used correctly, it works very well.
I was very disappointed as it did not seem to sharpen very well. I stumbled across a you tube video about how people use this type of sharpener wrong. To make a long story short, it said in contrast to popular belief you have to use very heavy pressure when pulling the knife through. Wow, what a difference. It now sharpens very well for an inexpensive sharpener.

Works AMAZING...until it doesn't.
I was very excited to get this in the mail because I have a very nice J.A. Henckels 7" santoku knife that was desperately in need of sharpening.Pro's:-Instructions are on the package and very simple to understand and follow.-This sharpener took literally moments to transform a tragically dulled blade into a scary-sharp razor; I could literally shave my face with the knife.Con's:-The biggest drawback is that mine had a sizeable chip break off of the coarse sharpening stone while I was sharpening the above mentioned 7" santoku FOR THE FIRST TIME. I did not use excessive pressure while sharpening, so this was unexpected and rendered the sharpener at risk of dulling the next knife to be sharpened on it due to no longer having a consistent flat surface on the stone. It's true that nothing lasts forever and that sharpening stones do eventually wear out, but for the cost of $30+ it's not very economical to putter out so quickly.-This style of sharpener makes it challenging to get the last 1.5" (the tip) of the knife sharp because you must apply moderate pressure to create friction and sharpen the knife, so when you reach the end of the knife and the blade exits the v-shape sharpening stones, the knife suddenly comes free and due to downward pressure, it nicks the plastic portion of the sharpener. So, in order to prevent this from happening, you must cease applying pressure to the knife at the end of the blade, thus it doesn't sharpen the tip very well.I will be exchanging this in hopes that the chip that broke off the first time using this was merely due to a manufacturer defect.

Precise and professional sharpening tool!
The media could not be loaded. For years i have been using the whetstone thinking that these kind of sharpeners are for noobs. I was so wrong!! This is a perfectly precise sharpening tool for my Zwilling knives! I am so happy I bought this. Now it take less than 30 seconds to sharpen my knife to perfection! 10/10

OK but not great
You get what you pay for. Adequate for routine sharpening and easy to use. But not whetstone results. Still, a lot less effort and time than using a whetstone. Seems to do a better job on Western knives than Japanese knives.
