Aquastop Hose Connector

I bought this when I purchased a new hose reel, not realising that the reel would come with all of the attachments included. As such I have not opened this packet but it is exactly the same as the one included in my reel kit so I am happy to confirm that this is a great little attachment. So easy to fit onto the end of the hose and looks just like it belongs with all the other Hozelock items. It’s sturdy and I’m guessing will last a long time as long as you store it in a shed or garage over winter as in the past, I have found that these attachments can go a bit brittle through cold weather and frost. The whole point of this is that if the spray at the end of the hose comes off, the water stops flowing. I just had a normal one on there before and my spray attachment was getting a bit loose. The number of times that I got soaked when it fell off was getting to be a joke. Happy to report that this attachment has stopped that. Plus, the price was much lower than I remember Hozelock items to be so I was really pleased. Like I say, this one is now a spare as I already got one with my new reel but I would definitely recommend this for anyone not wanting to get drenched when changing attachments.

Cant give it a five star as even though its fitting onto Hozelock set up. Constant leak when under low pressure. other than that its ok.
