My son is loving this collection of books. He is 14 and doesn't read much unfortunately but cannot get enough of these.

The best manage in history Must own if your a manga collector, heck even if your not this story is amazing as soon as you think it cant get better then it does every single chapter!!!!!

This arc is all about Thorfinn's character development and showing the remains of a warrior when you strip them of fighting. Some call it boring due to lack of action but I find it as one of the most important volumes in terms of the protagonist's journey to being "A true warrior".

Carries on straight after anime finished. However you will have 2 read a single chapter prior to this book so I recommend reading the chapter online and then picking up this book if you have just finished the anime and want to continue with this masterpiece of a creation

As of now Vinland Saga is climbing not only up my list of favorite manga series out there. It's also becoming one of the best stories in general, in any form of media, I've had the pleasure of starting to read. SO FAR, I SHOULD SAY BECAUSE I HAVE NOT FINISHED READING IT ALL. AND I DOUBT IT WILL HAPPEN AND THE STORY BECOMES SO BAD I END UP HATING IT, YOU NEVER KNOW, LOL. Again alot would have to happen for me to not like this series. The characters even as they change, I'm still interested and alot of newer characters, I wanna see where they go and their arc. So much to love here in this series from the writing to the artwork and definitely the colorful cast of characters. Can't wait to see what happens!!!!

After the events that lead to thorfins enslavement, the story takes a very big change in pace an tone. Overall been loving the direction of things have been going and have purchased all 11 volumes now and just finished reading the 8th. Looking forward to what is to come. Great manga, one of the few that I have collected. Highly recommend it.
