It Works!
Did not disappoint. Used NicoDerm CQ Steps 1 -3 over 20 years ago to successfully quit cigarettes. Recently, smoked cigars for a about a year and had to quit. NicoDerm CQ Step 2 was perfect to destroy that nasty short-term nicotine habit. Again, did not disappoint.

I was recently received an e-mail from Amazon stating "How did this item meet your expectations?". I normally don't respond but in this instance I will. It met my expectations very well, thank you. I have been smoke-free since January 19th. Instead of using the 14 patches, I used the first 7 and saved each one for another rotations. I am on my 3rd rotation. I did this because I took the patch off before sleeping so that I wouldn't get horrifying nicotine induced lucid dreams but could still get that sweet, sweet nicotine later. Basically I wore 7 new patches for a week (peeling each one off at night and saving them), then wore the week long rotation another week, and another week, and I hope for another week. I'm not being cheap, I just didn't want to get the 7mg ones, and they don't make a smaller size one, and I really want to wean myself off of the nicotine as smoothly as possible so that no one gets hurt. Because I care.

Incredibly Bad skin reaction
While the product effectively does what it claims — I personally and repeatedly have had really bad skin reactions once I take the patch off. I find it helps if I wash any adhesive residue away immediately after removing the patch. This was my first time using the clear patches and I think I'm going to switch back to the traditional ones. This won't be everyone's experience, but mine required anti-itch lotion and several days of an itchy raised area. After 14 days of patches you've got lots of red marks everywhere
