Love It!
Game changer for my car that has very bad backup visibility. The fish eye lens gives a great range of vision. Installed it two days ago. Hooked the power up to my license plate light because of another comment here - thanks. It was a 1/2 hour job for me. I drive with my lights on, so that keeps the camera always on. Because it takes several seconds to connect to your smart phone, I think that is the way to go. Super happy with this inexpensive solution.

Works as front camera
For tight parking it is sometimes helpful to get the POV of what your bumper is seeing, so I installed this as a front camera. Pretty straight forward if you have a plan for wiring it and others have said keeping it always powered (connected to battery in constant on) is better performance. I have it in a shaded part of my grill so I'm not worried it will get hot from engine while moving but I am worried if it would overheat on a hot sunny day when parked for a while. Hoping it lasts this summer, but super easy to use a android tablet in my cab to see the feed and use other navigation apps. You can also record the feed to your device with the JoyTrip app or take screen caps. Very heavy fisheye lense and there is some lag on the image, but for seeing down front it works and I am sure the same is good for the back if your vehicle needs a backup camera. Likely not the best performing option, but it does work and a cheap and easy option compared to other solutions.

I need help please
I bought this camera last year and just installed in my on vw beetle. We connected it to the reverse light know that there may the a delay but that’s ok. We tested before putting everything back by putting the ignition on but not started, put it in reverse, I was able to connect to the WiFi on the camera and it worked beautifully. We put everything back together and when to use it will the car fully started and in reverse, but it would find the WiFi to connect to the camera. But again with just the ignition on but not started it connects just fine. What am I missing or what do I need to check or change. My phone seems to only want to connect to my internet WiFi and see the one for the camera as not internet. My car is a 2013 and my phone is an iPhone 14 Pro IOS 18.3.1, if you have any pointers that would be great because a camera that only works with the engine off is useless.

Updates a 20 year old vehicle!
The 7 inch screen is simple to install, set up and use. It works exactly as described, which brings wireless Apple Play and a backup camera into my old Jeep Liberty. Since my Jeep doesn’t have factory Bluetooth or an aux input l had to use the radio station method to link the screen to my factory stereo. It was a simple process and works flawlessly, even maintaining the great sound of my Infinity radio. The photos l attached are of my Apple Play screen, and one shot of the backup camera showing the view as l back out of my garage. This unit was very reasonably priced, simple to install, and exceeded my expectations by bringing an old vehicle into 2024. The only negative aspect is you need an absolutely flat surface to install the unit to the top of your dash with the adhesive mount. My Jeep does not have that, so l drilled 4 small holes, and screwed it in securely to the top of my dash. I prefer it this way, as it won’t fall off.

Limited wifi range.
Camera worked but the range was not far enough to reach the cab of my truck from rear of twenty foot trailer.

Sweet deal at a great price.
I have no "tech" on my 18 year old Honda Accord so hard wiring the camera was necessary (USB Port? Yeah...No!) I tied into the rear license plate light so I have power as long as the lights aren't turned off. Synching up with the Camera WiFi was super simple. The JoyTrip app is very user friendly. I used the parking lot of a local business to align the guide lines and realized that I might need to shim the camera bracket a bit to get things perfect. Not a big deal. Finally, I must write that I was shocked by the clarity of the camera image. Enjoy!!!

Doubtful
30 years in IT systems and support so electronics are not new to me. Out of the box, the camera appears solid, but the wiring connection lacks a way to secure the cord to the camera. I've use connectors like this in the past but they typically have a retaining connector. This product does not. If you move the camera it appears to lose connection to the power cord. After an hour or so for playing with this device, I've gotten it to broadcast a WIFI signal a couple of times but the WIFI connection drops after 10 seconds. I'm assuming it's because of the loose connector. I'm testing from my desk w/ the 5v USB cord. Reading the spec sheet, which was in the box, the device operates best w/ a 12v supply. USB provides only 5v. I'll try hardwiring and if it performs better, I'll update my rating accordingly. So far - I'm not impressed.

Works fine just beware of Apples double click to install message.
I bought this to use as a rear view camera on an E-bike. The camera works great (though not a super clear image it is totally fine for rear facing camera) and the installation was a breeze other than Apple's stupid message to Double click to install instead of telling you that you need to double click the button on the side of the phone. I just tried the camera in my front yard on a rainy night in low light and the image, displayed on my Iphone is fine for this usage. Great product now if the guys/gals from Yeoizo would get a job at Apple and straighten them out it would be a totally painless install.
