Delightful
What a beautiful ending to a delightful series. Was waiting to read Lord Dalton's story eagerly. Kate Archer has not disappointed. It was just the perfect ending. Flawlessly written, just perfect punches and humor and paying attention to the details , the customs and traditions of that Era. It is very important to understand the nuances of the period one is writing. She does it brilliantly. Would love to have another excellent series.

Yay 😻 for the "Duke Pact"!
Six wonderful stories! Kate Archers writting brings you into a whole world! They become your family! Warm and fuzzy! Incorporating the Characters From 1 book to the next. With different story lines But always funny ,, ,, romantic ,,romantic and full of heart. I save the books then binge so I live and breath in their world. I will miss the lords and their Ladies. I will miss the cats dogs horses and orphans, Butlers all Kate characters who make this wonderful world I felt privileged to share in. Brilliant series
I have read all six books in this series and have found every book has a very different and excellent story. The structure of each book is very good and well worth reading all six. You need to start at book one to follow the thread.

Romance par excellence!
This whole series has been a delight to read, and this writer proves, beyond the shadow of a doubt that 'romance' need not be graphic to be 'felt' and thoroughly enjoyed by the reader. I love that Kate Archer often literally makes me 'LOL' with her clever and amusing phrasing that gives personalityto a wide varietyof her characters--not just the main 2! Perhaps many readers thrive on what I can only suspect meets the criteria of 'soft porn', I truly believe there are countless readers like me who just love the 'escape' of a good mystery / romance minus the 'eeewww' factor of TMI. (We have imaginations, thank you very much, and are well able to 'fill in the blanks'!) Just as a skilled comedian is able to make one laugh heartily without resorting to the common crutches of vulgarity and profanity, Kate Archer skillfully draws (and keeps) you in the world of her characters without the use of those same, tired crutches. My only complaint? It was the last book of the series!!! I highly recommend!!!

lovely story
Daisy, who does not mourn her father’s death, and Dalton, who thinks humanity should go extinct, make an endearing couple.
