Great basic starter book for young and older alike.
Fantastic book, well written for a child (and me as a novice) to understand. Illustrations are great and really engaged my daughter. She has read from start to finish so far and is looking forward to practicing the basics as soon as it's reasonably acceptable to do so, and the neighbours won't complain for it being early! Look forward to the next book.

Bought this for a student and I use it as mini 'sight reading' exercises in the lesson and then implement the beats into songs of her choice. She's only 10 but I believe this booked has helped her read notation very well.

Very easy to understand highly recommend
Easy to read and understand! Purchased for my son and he was able to read and play along very quickly. Very straight forward guide through the book to teach children the basics of music play! I would highly recommend and would purchase again!
