Follow instructions regarding no touching the tube with bare hands.
It was a replacement bulb for an outdoor motion detecting light. The first bulb did not work. After reading the directions about not touching the bulb with bare hands, I was successful inserting a different bulb using plastic gloves.

Work perfectly and easy to install
5 for $10 or 1 for $20? It wasn't a difficult decision.

At least one of the five bulbs in the package does not light.
The first bulb that I pulled out of the shipped package of five bulbs was not perfectly straight and so it was not surprising that it didn't light up on installation.Fortunately the second one did. I did not try any of the others, but this product is not anywhere near deserving five stars.I wonder how long the one now installed will last -- let alone whether the others will work.(Of course they are "Made in China" -- but not top quality.

They work
These bulbs work well. The light is bright and the bulbs are easy to install and fit well. I can't speak to their longevity, yet. They seem to be the only option for this type of lamp, but they are relatively cheap and work well.

Broken on arrival
Received the bulbs and the first one right out of the package didn’t look right. The filament looked as if it was not connected inside and it in fact was not and did not work. The second we tried was fine but really disappointed that we paid for these and they arrived broken.
