I am using a pair of these as an isolation switch for my solar panel batter store, which currently consists of 4 * 130A/Hr deep cycle batteries. Each switch isolates a single bank of two batteries. I only draw 200Amp max but they seem OK with that. The haven't got warm so far, and I can't hear any contact 'pop' due to severe arcing during switch-over.These have only had limited testing but seem pretty good so far.

My caravan had an isolator (unbranded) fitted to protect a 12v motor mover. After a short time contact began to be intermitent and I traced thid to the isolator. Bought this and immediately it functioned more positively. Very good service from the seller so I am pleased all round.

I had this switch installed to isolate my motorhome batteries. I run a 3kw inverter charger and this switch failed before my 300A fuses, leaving my motorhome without power until I bypassed it.Cheap junk, do not buy.

Solid. Awkward shape to cut out and the edge of the switch box is only a mm or so from the edge of the circular front face so you have to get your cut-out pretty close to perfect to ensure you don't see any holes when its mounted. Would be easier to fit if the front face was bigger or the switch box smaller. I created a cut-out with stiff cardboard first then used it as a template to draw onto masking tape stuck on the final surface. The key can only be removed in the off position. The tied on rubber cap and rubber tie was black on mine and it can be removed if, like me, you think its pointless.

It took forever and a push to arrive. But seems a decent product.

Well made and represents good value for money. Slightly tricky to install - require a fairly large drill but you wouldn't be buying it if you didn't have the tools to fit it, would you?
