I bought this wall mount for my TP-Link Deco XE75 mesh system mainly to clean up my setup, and it honestly made everything look way more organized right away. Before, I had the units sitting on shelves with cables hanging around, but now everything is mounted neatly on the wall with almost no visible mess. Installation was very easy just a couple of screws and the brackets were ready to go. The fit is perfect for my Deco units, and they sit securely without wobbling or feeling loose. I also like that the design keeps the units slightly lifted, which helps with airflow and avoids overheating during long use. The built-in cable management is a nice touch too. I can route the power cable cleanly instead of letting it hang down, which makes the whole setup look much more professional. WiFi performance doesn’t seem affected at all signal strength is still strong throughout my house. Overall, this is a small accessory but it makes a big difference in both aesthetics and organization. If you’re using a Deco mesh system, this is definitely worth it for a cleaner, more polished setup.

Works great with a TPlink XE 70 pro. I did run ethernet cable through the wall i mounted this on so the ethernet cam straight into the mesh node. Can't say how well it would be if routing it up into the mount and then plugging it in regarding enough room.

The easiest thing you can do for stronger wifi signals is to install your AP's up high as WiFi signals radiate downward. These wall mounts were the solution for my Deco XE75's that I have. The wall mounts come with screws and anchors to mount them and a little instruction guide. Installation was a breeze. Simply determine exactly where you would like the mount to be mounted. To do this, i just placed a Deco in the mount (so I can see exactly how much clearance i had to the ceiling), held the mount w/Deco against the wall and use a pencil to mark the base of the mount. Next, I removed the Deco, located my marks on the wall, held the mount to the marks and put a small level across the top of the mount to ensure is was level and used a jeweler's type of screwdriver and pushed it into the wall where the screws go for both sides. Once that's done, you can put the mount down and push the anchors into the wall, line up the anchors to the screw holes in the mount and screw it in. Simple! Just run the wires up into the back of the mount, connect your Deco to the wires (power and/or ethernet) and installation is complete and you now have stronger wifi signals with further coverage (reach) versus the Deco sitting on a desk, table, or shelf. Looks good, fits well, gets the router off the desk.

These mounts hold the TP link 75 pro model perfectly. They Come with three wall anchors and screws, even though the mount only needs two wall anchors and screws. I would call the wall anchors very basic, but the things don’t weigh a lot so it’s not the biggest issue. There is ample room in the back for wires without anything getting pinched and a cut out on the front so that you can see the status light.
