Beautiful book to read the little one x

Very down to earth story book which is also informative, Children learn about the world without realising they are being taught to care.

What a lovely book. I was worried that it was going to be to informative for my child but after reading reviews and it being on offer I went for it. The book is firstly great quality, the story is beautiful and simply written and with really beautiful illustrations. I know my 3.5yr old will love this when he’s gifted it at Christmas. Thank you.

I love this book so much. There is such a lovely hidden message and it is great book to use in my teaching practice.

I bought this book as a Christmas present for my 3.5yr old niece. Upon receiving it I had a quick look through and loved the illustrations and the idea behind the book, however it is written from the point of view of the author to his newborn baby (as clearly stated). As a result one of the pages says "You may not be able to speak yet either, even though your head is filled with questions. Be patient, you'll learn how to use words soon enough". As my niece is already capable of having full conversations with people I'm a bit worried this may confuse her as she would know that she can speak and already use words. As a result this book will be going to my 18 month year old niece instead.

This is a wonderful story, bought as a gift for new parents

I bought this book to start a collection of children's books as I'm aspiring to become a primary teacher, and I've always enjoyed the wit and imagination of kids books. But this one in particular was such a delight to read! The illustrations are mind blowingly beautiful, the text so simple yet so considerate. Most of the time, I kept thinking that adults need this book too. It's a great reminder of what we are as human beings sharing this planet, and how beautiful and raw it actually is. We need to be a little bit nicer and this book is brilliant for kids and adults.
