Sleek & modern design-well worth the price difference-if that’s something you care about ;)
After extensive research of similar products, I chose this one because of it’s sleek and modern design. I couldn’t be more thrilled about my choice-as a matter of fact, I purchased three more.Motion sensor works great. Brightness is perfect, neither too bright nor too weak. Flashlight slides smoothly into charging base and does not cover up second plug if plugged into top plug. It does not function as a permanent night light (only when power is out). It’s mainly a motion sensor, which is as stated in description. Light stays on for about 50 sec. It will quickly re-trigger and turn on again after it turns off. Absolutely love it!Only one complaint: when we had a power outage the only way from keeping the light off was to unplug it. While it was plugged in during the power outage the light stayed on. I found that counterproductive because I wanted to save battery life. Would be better if it only came on with motion.

Doesn't block the entire outlet!!
Great item!! Works as advertised and really helpful during power outages. Best of all, it doesn't block the entire outlet so you can plug in other items without having to remove the light.

Random light-ups, but does the job
So, these are exactly the same unit that "etekcity" used to sell a few years back, except now they're a better form factor, and don't block the other outlet. That's a huge plus for me.The brightness sensor means they don't turn on when it's sunny, so that's great, and the motion sensor works quite well, which is also great. They provide exactly what I need, which is a visible footpath as I walk through a space, and if (when) the power goes out, they go into "emergency light" mode, which is awesome, and I can walk back through my house without having to find a flashlight, and if I NEED a flashlight, I can grab one of these, and as soon as I pull it off the base, it's in flashlight mode. So, overall, they do a great job, but I am guessing that, just like the ETekCity ones, they'll die within a year. Not because the batteries are bad, but because the base fails. If I'm wrong, I'd buy about 20 of them. But until I see what happens, I'll wait to buy more.Oh, and as other people have mentioned, they do turn on at random times. I'm not sure what causes that, but I don't much care, as long as they turn on when we want them to. But if you keep this in your bedroom? It would probably be a deal-breaker. We use them in the hallways, so I only notice the random light-ups when I'm sitting on the stairs reading/etc.

Bright and Sensitive
My wife had purchased a light like this quite a few years ago, and it had finally died. I saw this light while browsing for Christmas ideas and thought it was close enough to what she had had and liked that I bought it for her. She loves it!

Motion Sensor Light
It has a very useful purpose. Works fine, it replaces one previously had. Comes on when power is out, plus motion activates it to light up area that is dark at night.

easy to use
Easy to use, just plug in. Works great. Nice light at night, not too bright but just enough to see where you're going.

Not sure if I got a brand new product...
Sensky 3-in-1 Motion Night Light, Rechargeable Flashlight, Emergency Night Light for Bedroom, Bathroom, Baby Room, Stairways, HallwaysDecember 6, 2017 (Original): Just got the 2 that I ordered. I have not used them much at this point to write anything detailed yet. However, the back of both of the lights there's some damage with scratches on the surface and green color on top. It looked kinda used, not brand now. More to follow...December 14, 2017 (Update): Okay I have had these for a week or so now. The light supports three modes- 1. Low, 2. Bright, 3. Off. The definition of Off on the product description says "If no motion is determined or when surrounding lights is sufficient, it will power off to save energy and save on bills." (see link below). So my interpretation is that when there's any motion and it's dark enough, then it should light up even in the Off mode when docked on the cradle, but it doesn't- no matter how close I get to the light/motion sensor. It would only light up if I change the mode to Low or Bright or when I lift it from the charging cradle. This doesn't serve any purpose. Additionally, when I had the mode set to Low, I noticed that light in the hallway would go bright for no reason and there's no motion at all. So it was getting some false trigger. The light would eventually go from Low to Off mode and then won't sense any motion. I believe I need to return this item (both units that I purchased).\https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/aplus-seller-content-images-us-east-1/ATVPDKIKX0DER/AC2MA79QQ8JEG/B076FNBDZQ/RIp1Koh4Rlyl._UX970_TTW__.jpg
