First off I'm going to say that since I own a motorcycle shop when I opened the package containing the bumper, I did not immediately freak out because I knew I could fix the problems. I also do powder coating so the issues with the finish and the modifications do not have as much of an impact for me.Confirming all other reviews that say that you have to modify this bumpers trailer connector mounting point for lights, brakes, etc. I had to expand it by about a 16th of an inch all the way around using a Dremel. If you are not comfortable with modifying things I would stay away from this bumper. After modification you need to either paint or somehow seal the exposed metal.I'm giving it a four star because I don't have an issue modifying things but from a quality control point, they really dropped the ball. Everything from the fact starting off that the packaging was terrible and the bumper was not sealed before they put in the foam in the box ... To the fact that they put their logo emblem on the rear bumper upside down. I left it on there just because I find it funny.During packaging they did not bother to ensure that the bumper was well protected so the foam stuck completely to the left side of the rear bumper. No matter what I did I could not get it to remove so I'm going to at some point remove the bumper, strip it down and then powder coated again. But if I didn't own the shop, I would have returned it and been very upset.All of that aside, I think it's a well-built lower priced bumper that does the job. Also because of the pricing on this I don't feel any kind of issue with the fact that I'm going to modify both the rear and the front bumpers. Just be aware of what you maybe getting into from the modification standpoint.

This is the 3rd Hooke Road Item I have purchased for my Gladiator. The side steps are perfect in every way... love love love them...The front bumper arrived with damage due to the packing of the nerf bar on the bumper... (just a little piece of cardboard would have save the chipped paint.) And now, after 2 days, one of the led lights is full of condensation... it is sure to fail soon.And finally, the rear bumper. It was well packaged and arrived with no damage... but, when going to install the hitch light connector, the hole was too small and I had to file the hole about a 1/16 inch larger all around for the connector to fit.This is probably going to cause rust issues in the future (I put some touch up paint on it to try to help...) and for this reason I gigged it down 2 stars. Plan on doing some grinding on it if you buy it.Such a simple thing for the manufacturer to blow... maybe the connector comes in different sizes from Jeep... but this should be planned on.

Very nice, so much better than original plastic bumper. I had to wire the plate light in due to it not being a plug that I am familiar with. Also, the trailer light hook-up hole is too small I will have to use a Dremel tool to get it to the size that the original port will fit into not a big deal if you don't ever pull a trailer but for those that do you might want to take that into consideration. Also a few chipped spots in the paint a fairly easy fix with some flat black paint and a paint brush, although I'd account for that being due to shipping, the box that the bumper was in had definitely seen better days.

The trailer plug for the gladiator did not fit. Had to trim the hole now it fits. The LED for the tag is terrible. Bought a bolt on taglight. The LED lights that install on the bumper are awesome. Bumper looks great. Bumper contacts the body panel where the bumper wraps around on both sides… will need to be trimmed. Not packaged great and the left top edge had a large chip missing from coating. Black Rustoleum is nearly a perfect match for touch up

License plate light was loose in box and broken I need a new one that fits in bumper otherwise it is a great bumper

Only reason for 4 instead of 5 starts is I had to do a little grinding to get the trailer plug to go into place.

Built well, poor instructions. Sensors don’t fit now and have to turn them off now.
