Fascinating
So preface, 10 year EMT A with a wide variety of experiences and a resume reflecting that.Is this a serious medical device like a CAT or SOF? No. The material doesn't instill confidence this would stop arterial bleeds, something you'd want a TQ to do. Honestly the bleeds this would work on, direct pressure would probably suffice. This is not a one handed device either. I have to use my teeth and my opposite hand to anchor this down prior to twisting the windlass. The old RAT TQ would be more effective and those are nearly universally hated amongst most, not all, but most first responders who train and have experienced trauma where massive bleeds needed to be controlled.THAT SAID, I carry it everyday as a fidget, a conversation piece, and in concept, it's neat. Is it worth the money? Yeah. But as a fidget, a conversation piece, and if you need a strap or tie down for something where you have a way to tighten it, this is cool. But as a serious first aid device? CAT or SOF Tq's are the best metric currently. Shoot, surgical tubing would be better than this.

Good Thought
It’s a really great idea, however, some design changes are needed. I’ve been wearing it everyday for a few weeks now and it starting to come apart. The four loops that secure it are already falling off and peeling back. It is not comfortable to wear all day every day. The plastic, the shackle and velcro are all awkward and painful at times. The shackle is so difficult to put on and take off. THAT alone has nearly forced me to pitch this in the trash. I have to take it off to sleep in, at the gym, in the shower and when I have a suit on. Great idea but more R&D is needed.

Pretty cool. Difficult to rewrap but could save a life so...how can u beat that?
This item is unique. I'm familiar with using tourniquets and thought having one always ready would be a great idea. From starting point, the "CDO gear torque one" is super easy to use. I didn't wanna wait til an emergency to learn how to use it so I tried it out. I recommend everyone familiarize themselves with the instructions but for me personally I wanted to see first hand. From initial presentation it's a passable bracelet. It easily sprung into action as a tourniquet and was just as effective as the larger ones. You could save a life with this.So then came the time for rewrapping it. The instructions indicate it can be reused. I was careful unfurling it and even took photos prior. I still had a pretty difficult time getting it back to it's initial state. It took me two tries and more time than I'd like to admit but I was eventually able to get it back to the starting point. That said, it isn't easy and I don't know that I'd consider this a "Reusable" item. Now obviously after a bloody emergency you wouldn't want to reuse it and would probably cut it off. So based on the fact that the whole reusable thing is more for "practice", it's okay. But definitely not super quick or simple. As a bracelet it's sorta awkward. It works but certainly isn't fashionable or even really comfortable. So I'd say most will probably throw it in a bag or on a keyring. That said...if you don't carry the instructions too, make sure you know how to use it ahead of time. All things considered this is an item that has the potential to save someone's life when used correctly so for the money and portability, it's worth it. Just be cautious undoing it (during practice) and learn how to use it. A tool is only useful if you know how to wield it. It's a pretty cool idea though and great for those of us who may encounter life threatening situations more than others. I work with a vulnerable population and while I hope to never have to use this, it's worth having just in case. I'd recommend. (Sorry if my photos post out of order. I labeled them in case).

Overcomplicated and ineffective
The idea behind this tourniquet is great; a good compact tourniquet that you can have on you at all times is hard to find. This isn't it, unfortunately. The Torq One is overly complicated in how you store it, especially as a wristband. Any tourniquet training will teach you that you have 15 seconds to apply the tourniquet in a situation where someone is about to bleed out. This tourniquet takes much longer to unroll from being a wristband. Applying it is another story. It's extremely painful and pinches a lot. It catches itself and becomes difficult to tighten. The locking mechanism slides freely when you follow the including directions. The strap is not high quality and frays almost immediately. There's much better compact tourniquet available. Get a cheap quick release tourniquet, a CAT, or a RATS, don't get this.

Won't Last
These are very, very hard to put on your wrist with one hand. You have to use one hand to align a small screw through a U shaped piece and screw it in to fasten it to your wrist. The tourniquet unravels when you don't want it to. Neither one held up. It is also a whole lot of steps to get it to work like a normal tourniquet. Not sure I would trust remembering how it works and deploying it quick enough when it is actually needed.

Cleaver light weight, portable trauma tourniquet
As a surfer, I've been waiting for a truly portable trauma tourniquet. I do have another large tourniquet back in my car but needed something I could surf with. You never know when a surf fin, another surfer or an unexpected underwater visitor creates an issue that needs a trauma tourniquet. Because of this reason I commend CDO Gear TORQ ONE® Tourniquet Bracelet for creating this solution. One suggestion, other than using it on the wrist, can the developer create more videos showing other ways surfers can use this amazing product. I'd like to see some attachment for the ankle or attaching to the surf leash.
