I ordered these pants to take on a cruise where we were taking an excursion to Atlantis water park. I am very prone to sunburn and cancerous lesions, so I typically avoid sunlight. I’m basically a vampire.I got these pants to protect my legs instead of slathering on slimy gross sunscreen every 80 minutes. These pants performed perfectly! I was in the bright Bahama sun and water for over 3 hours and did not get burned or even red on my legs. They fit well and looked cute. The bottom of the pant is the tiniest bit flared out - more like straight legged right at the ankle. The pocket on the side is helpful, too!

Fits well but the waist is oddly tight. I'm 5'5 135lb 36x26x38 I went with the small. The length is great, a tiny bit loose on my ankles/calves. Fits over my curves. I hate tight waistbands but I think it will loosen in the water. Got the matching jacket in small which is a tiny bit big but comfortable. Bought for diving - I have another set from a different company that I wear everywhere for overall protection and warmth and needed a second set.

This is fairly thin as "rash guard" material goes, and fine to wear for sun protection in hot weather (you will sweat, but it wicks).However these are not very durable. I purchased 2 pairs for myself and two for my daughter, and with fewer than 6 wears per pair, all are showing pulling and other signs of fabric decline. They also snag very easily.

These pants are comfortable. They are thicker than other rash guard type products I have worn and offer more protection. I liked that the length was sufficient to protect my ankles from sunburn and the material was stout enough not to flap while swimming. The only drawback is that they don't dry as fast as other swimwear. (Easy solution, buy two pair).

I love the Private Island collection. It fits exactly as expected. I bought these for scuba diving, to go along with coordinating jacket, tank, and short, and the entire outfit is just perfect. Wears well. Looks good. I am actually looking forward to buying another set.

Very good quality and comfortable on. They do run a little small. I'm keeping the set I got - even though they are a little small - because we are using them to scuba dive and you want them to fit tight for that purpose. Having said that, I wore them last night to play sand volleyball in and I was pleasantly surprised with how well I was able to move in them and how comfortable they were. I do believe these will be multi-purpose pants for me!

I wear these on my warm water dives to protect myself from stings and scrapes and from the sun. I also wear them under my wetsuit for cold water dives to add warmth and make getting in and out of my wetsuit easier. They're nice and thick and have held up through many dives.

Love Private Island Hawaii Women UV rash guard swim pant. I was looking for swim suit for the Fall/Winter seasons. I swim everyday at our localgym and felt this would be perfect not only for the season change but if water is too cool entry is not such a shock.
