This was recommended to me by colleagues, and I'm quite happy with. Easy download and sync to the phone. I'm able to navigate through the user setup very easily, and is a great alternative to still track activities and daily step count if you are not able to wear smart watches at your workplace.

good watch
Pros:The watch is quite slim and not too clunky, which I find with some other brands. Makes it a good day to day watch as well as a sports oneI got this in the prime day sale for only £35, which was an absolute bargain. The watch is brilliant for that price.Seems to accurately record steps, distance, and exercise. The app is really good and tells you what intensity of exercise you've done. It also tells you how many calories that is and what you could do to achieve your daily exercise goalsCons:Would be good if other sports were included, such as horse riding.Sometimes if you move your hands too much while sitting it will count it as steps/activity, which gives it an inaccurate readingSometimes it doesn't sync very well if the bluetooth isn't constantly turned on on your phoneThe strap is a bit of a pain to do up and pops off sometimes

Really useful fitness tracker
I love this watch! I can’t compare as others have as it is my first. First thing to say is that you need to press the button on the left to enter the menu to scroll for settings (some reviewers were confused about this).I mainly bought it for exercise heart rate tracking for home workouts. Seeing what the different workouts do to my heart rate and the tips and feedback have helped me understand and adapt my workout schedule. The built in workouts are a little easy so I use these less and do my own. Sleep tracking (which I didn’t think would interest me) has also helped me adapt my routine and workouts as well as see patterns/possible causes when I have a bad nights sleep. The battery lasts 4 to 5 days and charging is extremely quick.Only con is initially the strap and charger a fiddly but you soon get used to this. It has blipped slightly about twice. But both times there was a reason (slipped down wrist as I had on too loose)I went for a walk and linked to my phone gps - this was very easy to do. This tracked my route pace and heart rate accurately. All in all extremely pleased with it and highly recommend (NB I got it for a very good price in sale - worth keeping an eye out)

Does not work!
The only function I can get on this watch is the time, countdown time and bluetooth sync to my phone. It doesn't appear to work with the Polar H10 heart rate monitor either. Maybe it does, but with no function on the watch how would I know? It certainly doesn't work with the app!I cannot factory reset the watch, as the Polar instructions are wrong! Furthermore, you cannot reset from the phone app either as the Polar instructions relate to a setting that doesn't exist. In order to get the watch to work, Polar state you need to install the app. To get the app working, you have to provide a whole load of personal data, then agree to them using it for whatever reasons they like. If you don't, then no app and no watch.Polar should provide these terms and conditions at the point of sale, not after you have made a purchase.Polar provide no easy way to get customer support. They only provide an address or chatbot feedback. You will have to write to them and hope they get back to you before you have to keep the watch that doesn't work!

Great training watch.
Had been looking to upgrade my activity tracker for some time & have considered a number of options over recent weeks. The Unite looked to offer the balance of features that as I was looking for at a reasonable price-point. As a predominantly indoor trainer, the lack of onboard GPS didn’t worry me although have to say that the hook-up to my I-phone’s GPS, which I normally use for walks, isn’t always smooth.First charge took only an hour or so to get to c75% to enable me to complete initial set up. Had the watch for a couple of weeks now & experience so far is that claims over battery life are a little optimistic - I’m probably charging every couple of days, although I do anticipate periods where I’m inactive & charge then rather than leaving to completely discharge at a time when I may need monitoring. This without heavy use of the fast draining functions. The data collected/provided offers a rich seam of information to manage & assess your performance & guide further training. Syncing can be a bit patchy at times.Overall, very pleased with the acquisition.

2 expensive
I have been using polar 4 20+ years mainly for heart rate monitor and the feel of the strap this watch needs charged every 3ish days 4 if you can figure out how 2 lock the screen. Also u need a watch so you can tell the time but the face doesn't light up most of the time unless u push the side button. In conclusion it's actually only worth £30/40 at most.

Sadly too complicated so returned it
Opened box and it looked lovely. Larger dial than expected. Difficult to put on a bit fiddly. Charged it using usb port( that charger is tiny so could get lost easily). When charged I attempted to set it up following instructions in booklet and online. Everytime it asked me to scroll up to settings there was nothing on scroll up apart from "no notifications". I looked on help blogs on own website, downloaded the app and spent about 3 hours trying to fathom it out but I could not find settings nomatter how much I tried. Even trying to turn it off is impossibleUnfortunately I have returned it- still on, as the factory reset instructions didnt work( holding sidebutton in x10-12 times). Such a shame. Im not the most tech-savy person in the world but this became tricky when things didnt appear when they were supposed to.
