I love this machine. I used a Garrett at max for a long time and it's a great machine. The equinox 900 is definitely an upgrade. It didn't take long at all to learn the machine. It is light and balanced very well. I love the display layout. I found so many treasures already with this detector and I've only had it for a week. I definitely recommend the Equinox 900.

Love this machine. Very accurate and easy to use. I have had great luck with it and it is my go to. This is my second Minelab Detector and the upgrades from the 800 are so worth it. The seller was awesome. Love buying from them.

There is a learning curve to using this, but that's the same with any detector. Easily learned, though. It's preset programs are on point, and you can customize the way you want them. This thing is light weight, making you swing longer without tiring out. And it is so compact when shaft is slid up into its 3 sections. I upgraded from a Whites XLT and a V3i. I thought I loved that V3i, but found a new connection with this Equinox 900. I've only just begun to use it, and found 3 dimes and a quarter in my yard that I missed with the V3i. Looking forward to many hunts with this Nox900. Update... This detector hits hard on silver! 11" deep dime and 8" deep half dollar, among more dimes. Loving it.

This is a great, well rounded, detector! I only have one criticism, so far. I'm a moderately experienced detectorist. As such, I'm familiar with ground balancing and other settings. That being said, there is no user manual. You must download it. Really, Minelab? No user manual with a $900 detector? That's really cheap of you. Luckily, no complaints about the rest of the detector. Great depth, battery life and all other options.

I love what this machine can do and it has been a very hard learning curve for anyone who has never used a metal detector. The recommendations from other detectorists was great and I figured if I bought a minimum unit I would outgrow it and need something better so bought top of the line. New owners will need to print out the owners manual immediately and read it and take your machine out regularly and learn how it works. I feel this will be worth it once I gain more experience with this.

I just started metal detecting in 2024 and I am so glad I purchased the Minelab Equinox 900. I have gone out detecting some old farms in Pennsylvania and this detector has impressed me every time. I recommend you watch some online videos to see how others have tested the Equinox 900. There are some excellent videos where the video person digs multiple depth holes and places coins in the bottom of each hole. I stand by their results because I have witnessed similar findings. I love this detector and plan to continue using it for many years to come. I also purchased an optional 15 inch coil so I can cover more ground. I feel it increases my productivity in the plowed fields

Amazing detector, still getting used to the settings and will have to experiment with them. Very light and great that I now have wireless headphones that are very clear. So glad I went for the Nox it is proving to be a great detector so far with finds last weekend
