HP Laserjet M209dw Wireless Black & White Laser Printer, Single-Function, Print, Best for Home Office (Renewed)

The HP LaserJet MFP M234dw is an excellent monochrome printer for high-volume text documents. Despite being a renewed model, it looks and performs like new. The fast printing speeds and automatic two-sided printing make it very efficient for daily office tasks. Setup was straightforward via the HP Smart app, and the wireless connectivity has been rock solid. It's a great, cost-effective choice for anyone who needs a reliable workhorse without the high price tag of a brand-new unit.

The first renewed unit arrived damaged, but Amazon customer service helped me get another unit very quickly, and I'm pleased to say that this model continues in the great HP tradition of printers. I had a monocolor HP laserjet for a long, long time and this is an up-to-date replacement. That first unit was a renewed one and lasted 20 years, and I hope this one lasts a long time too. This unit can be a very simple one to set up and operate, or you can make it as complicated as you want. Getting to the set-up software is not hard - if you know what to do. It involved going to the Microsoft store to get the HP Smart software (at no charge). From there the installation is quick and you're ready to go. WiFi is relatively easy if you're experienced and understand how to set up defaults in the Settings section of your Windows platform. Once again this is as complex - or simple as a person wants. I've just started and already can measure the savings from a b&w laser over any inkjet, especially the ones that use color ink even when you've set it up to do b&w printing! As always, HP has a big lineup of product so check things out when deciding what you actually need from your printer. And if you're looking for a simple or more complicated B&W laser printer, HP is a good choice, especially if you want to try a renewed unit! I've been more than satisfied with renewed HP product for decades now.

It took numerous time consuming efforts to link to my home network. It regularly dropped the connection. The Hp Ap never allowed a connection to HP + or to the Instant Ink offer . Color printing was very slow. Color photo prints were drab and too dark. I decided to return the printer and then suffered through various ineffective and inaccurately described methods to return the machine to factory settings. I am still not certain what finally worked. I bought the printer to replace a 14 year old inexpensive Hp printer that continues to work but is now making disturbing grinding noises. The company seems to have lost its way.

Good printer,, works well, semi-simple installation.. I had to troubleshoot the device during install with a few of my devices. But overall, Not too hard to figure it out.. I love the remote printing capabilities...

The Laser Jet M209dw is a compact and well-made unit. The prints are very good quality. This vendor is AOK.

I was hesitant to buy a refurbished printer. I usually don't buy refurbished electronics. However, after reading about Amazon stringent refurbishing standards I felt more comfortable with it. I just finished the installation process following the steps provided in the configuration guide. I read some comments from some buyers saying they had a hard time connecting the printer to the internet but after downloading the app it was quick and easy. I am very pleased with my printer . I look forward to many years of use. Will update if I ran into any issues with it.

This all-in-One Printer is okay for the price. Everything works fine except when you want to copy using the feed on the top. That does not work well at all! But I am still able to copy one sheet at a time. I guess you get what you pay for.
