I liked the look of this because of the small head. There's no point in have a magnetic tool which can't access tight places. It really is the size of a pen and can stay in your pocket.It only picks up about 900grams according to specs. However as long as it can collect small screws it's fine for me. As it happens it's quite strong. See the picture. That's a compact steel scissors and although there's a sweet spot for the strongest strength, it manages to hold it. So it's strong enough for my needs. If you need to it to be able to hold a bunch of keys, this may do the job provided you believe your key are unlikely to weigh more than 900grams.It extended upto 50cm which is not hugely long but again good enough for me .So if you just want something to find a screw around the room this is more than enough.

I find this very handy, sine screws so small and easily dropped, usually into bottom of a case, this extracts them qite easilly, for the price, just get one, as so handy to have in your toolbox.Excellent magnet.

I’m a motorcycle mechanic and this is a must. I’m a Snap-On guy very much so but the magnetic pick up from Snap-On is silly money for what is in truth something like this but blue point branded. I’ve spent a lot of money over the years on tools and I mean a lot but this is more than sufficient.

I was surprised how well made this is, given the price. Magnet is easily strong enough to pick up small items (screws etc.), and the telescopic action works well. Probably not sturdy enough for regular mechanic type use, but for DIY use it's great.

Very handy for getting screws & bolts out of awkward positions and saves dropping them in hard to reach areas of a car engine. Definitely recommend for the toolbox!

I ordered this for picking up sewing pins and needles etc. It will do for that purpose but is really not suitable for anything heavier such as tools like spanners etc. It is thin and would bend very easily. The magnetic is ok for my purposes but I doubt its strong enough to search for a lost pin or needle as the pins have to be touching it for it to attach to them at all.

This is a great little tool. It is about the size of a pen when it is not extended, so easily fits in bags, pockets, cars, tool boxes etc.It is easy to extend and retract, a very smooth movement.The magnet works well and picked up a range of objects. It will be very helpful and useful when I am working on my car. It is very good value for money. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.
