Very clear
Installation wasn't too bad and was very clear and my wife couldn't tell I put it up until I told her. Does it save energy? I don't know, but it does cut the draft from my windows pretty good.

Kit is super easy to work with and made an immediate difference in reducing the airflow coming into the house around the windows.

It works as described
I’ll have to be honest and say that I didn’t use this as a single large barrier. I have 15 6 ft windows in my sunroom that I used this to cover. What I didn’t have was anywhere near the tape I needed. Extra tape is expensive!

A very effective product
I have used this product before. It works very well and is very clear after stretching it out with a hair dryer. It undoubtedly acts as a good insulator - keeping heat in in the winter and cool in in the summer. It also acts to keep dust and dirt out if work is being done on the exterior of your home.

Beats other brands on sealing and insulating windows
It does so well Insulating our large bay window against cold Chicago winters we leave it up all year. It keeps cool air inside during summer. It covers and shrinks up so well you can’t tell it’s there. Can’t tell you how many times we’ve had to wipe Nose prints from pets, babies and adults, makes for a good laugh when you see them bumping into it!

NOT CORRECT MEASUREMENTS
The product is actually 3 FT 8 IN x 19.5....and completely useless. Bought 2 opened one thought I was crazy. Opened the second and nope....they're both the same. They are not folded a second time. They are short. Period.

Does a great job of preventing drafts from windows.
Once I was able to apply the film to the window it did a wonderful job of preventing drafts. The film is amazingly strong, and it really does shrink when exposed to heat from a blow dryer. However, 1) there is not enough tape included in the package, so I had to buy a separate roll. 2) The tape that was in the package would not separate from the backing. I did not return the product to Amazon because of the chances of it being replaced with the same. I went directly to Scotch and after sending them the necessary information, they replaced the two rolls I was having problems with. 3) I have not tried to remove the tape so the ease of that is yet to be seen.
