KitchenCraft Crepe Spreader, Beechwood, 24 cm, Beige

I bought this for my new crepe pan as the batter mix sets much quicker than in the average frying pan. This spreader allows me to get a nice, even distribution of batter very quickly. But remember to follow the instructions and dampen the blade before use, or batter will stick to it!

My wife has turned into a COVID-19 lockdown feeder and this utensil enables her to create amazing pancakes apparently! Not sure what was wrong with a spatula, but I was apparently stupid for making that comment. She still uses it daily so I can only assume it’s a good buy. Our children are now morbidly obese and can’t stand the sight of pancakes, but due to its robustness, they will have to endure plenty more for the time being

The quality is good. It's just the design - the angle makes it not so easy to use. Maybe it's just me... not so great at making pancakes.

So you're a Crepe chef in the making and therefore you'll know immediately how useful this small wooden tool can be. In skilled hands it can turn out the perfect round crepe everytime, family and friends will flock to your crepe parties and marvel at your dexterity ...... however for us, the two simple pieces of wood (the handle & the paddle) kept falling apart :( only ovecome by using a small piece of wet tissue to wedge the two together to keep the show on the road ..... when it works it's great but when it doesn't the room empties (the honest truth is they only came for the crepes)

Love it - although it's important to note that it's fairly big; I was expecting it to be smaller.

You get what you pay for. The one that was sent to me was wonky. It also stuck to the batter and just made a mess. I would not recommend this product. Amazon kindly refunded the item.

Although it’s lovely being made of wood & very tactile, compared with a plastic one this seems to stick and doesn’t spread batter smoothly? Also, this was the ‘recommended’ product as an Amazon linked buy with the pancake pan I bought for my husband, but the size seems completely wrong and is quite awkward to use?

Wenn man sich daran gewöhnt geht er auch bei Crêpes. Aber besser ist er wohl für Eierkuchen da er beim schieben schon sehr zahm geführt werden muss um Risse zu vermeiden. Er müsste dafür unten etwas breiter und abgerundet sein. Werde ihn mal etwas anschleifen und testen.

Certainement utile avec un Billig, mais pas avec une crêpière… beaucoup trop grand
