Unpacking and setting up the camera was a breeze. Unfortunately, the manufacturer failed to inform us of the name of the app the phone runs on. It is called VICOHOME. I don't like extra apps on my phone so I do not have a QR code scanner installed which meant I installed one, downloaded the VICOHOME app and then uninstalled the QR code reader which I did not want to do. Once I downloaded the app, installation was really simple. Just follow the screen prompts and sound effects and you will go through the setup rather quickly. A QUICK REMINDER: This camera does not work on 5Ghz. You MUST use 2.4 Ghz. The picture is amazingly clear. HD is more amazing. Now this is how it appears to look on my phone. See the 2 captures in my review. One photo was taken in natural light and the B&W was taken in IR mode without any lighting. EXCELLENT IMAGE QUALITY. I mounted the camera on my ceiling looking at my stuff. I have guys working in the house and they have no business going in that room so if they do, they are in big trouble. This camera also has a flashing light and makes a sound when the motion is triggered. There is a 5 to 10 second lag between motion and sound. You have 4 choices, Silent, Flashing Light, Siren or both. I run it silent so they don't realize they are caught until after. If you want to detect someone and scare them away, use the alerts as deterrents. I found the app on par with all the others namely Goodeye, CloudEdge, CamHiPro, HiKam, Eye4, MIPC and JoyLite. IMAGINE!!!! I review MANY cameras and every company has it's own software platform. When my alerts go off I wish I could find out what camera is being triggered in one place instead of having to open 7 different apps. I wish these manufactures would come up with 1 or 2 apps and call it a day. This is exhausting!!! All aside, I think if you like the way the camera operates just buy a few of the same ones so you can see them on 1 screen and have the alerts funnel into one place. All in all, nice quality, Nice picture quality, it has a slot to put up to a 128 gb SD card to record on board. You can get a solar panel to plug into it and never have to worry about charging it.

I recently purchased this camera after doing a lot of research looking for a camera at this price point. Even though I only had this camera for a few days it has not failed to disappoint. It came with two mounts: the typical screw mount (reference picture) and the magnetic mount which is shown in the advertising picture. Both mounts are quality and I feel secure using them. The set up was EXTREMELY user friendly using the Dzees Home app which is easily downloadable and extremely user friendly. The app is free to use and includes free 3 day cloud storage or you can use a SD card up to 128 gig. If you opted for the paid version of the app you receive more cloud storage and some enhanced features (smart AI detection). Videos and pictures are easily downloadable to your phone or shared with others via email, text etc... Battery life so far has been exceptional. I have only had it operational for three days and have played with the camera non-stop. The battery is down to 85%. Obviously, the higher number of recorded events and viewing of live footage affects the battery life. I am sure the battery life will be extended, once I have it finally configured. The camera appears to be well built and has an IP 66 rating which is suitable for the most demanding situations. The daytime and nighttime footage is also extremely impressive. One of the best things I like about the camera is the customer service. Other reviews have stated this and I can not comment enough. I contacted Dzees support to have some questions answered before I purchased this product. Within hours I had my reply which was very friendly, and answered my questions clearly. I will update this review within a few months if anything changes but honestly, at this point the only thing I can see changing is my satisfaction level even going higher as the camera ages. Would I purchase again - Most definitely! Thank you Dzees for a quality product and incredible customer service.

Works well. Range of view is good. Solar panel doesn't seem to charge battery much. I created large windows of scheduled sleep for the camera to preserve battery life. I was hoping to never have to climb up and remove the camera for charging. It will last about 2 weeks with dogs in the yard. UPDATE: Bought a second one and had problems with the solar panel. (mismatched plug-in) These folks do everything they can to avoid you or reply with any message that makes sense. They will keep asking you questions to delay fixing a problem. Go buy a Ring.

This is my 2nd Dzees camera. They have very clear images, excellent sound and fairly fast trigger speed. For the price I highly recommend them. I have asked several questions pertaining to battery, sleep and charging and very quickly had Sunny or Judy respond with the answer. The staff are great. Battery lasts a long time without charging and lonly take 2 hours to fully charge, but I drilled thriugh soffit and ran the provided charge cord through to garage then plugged it into an outlet and left the cord plugged into one camera. Its fully charged all the time. The other lasts at least a month charged and I’m playing with them all the time. So easy to install and bring on line. Thanks Judy and Sunny for your support.

This camera is so sleek and lightweight. The set up and installation were really simple. You just have to download the free app and follow the simple instructions- it took a few minutes tops to get it up and running. Installing the camera is also so simple. It comes with the mounting materials, just pick a spot and put it up. The picture quality is also really great, even at night, and has a long lasting battery. This is a great camera to give you peace of mind and security. I would recommend this product without any doubts.

The camera was easy to insatall and the battery life is good so far for 10 days just 10% battery used. The clarity is good and does it’s job happy with the product and the service has been great they contacted me to register the camera for warranty.
