Excellent Mirror!
Everything was as described, install was simple.c product is gorgeous. Popped Dakboard image onto an SD card, put the card j to a raspberry pi 4, mounted perfectly with supplied screwed, connected with supplied cables, turned it on and we were rolling in less than a half hour.I modified slightly by pulling the power cable from the bottom and replacing it with an extension cable, then connecting original power supply back to the end of the extension cable so I could mount it farther from power outlet. Paid about $8 for the cable, took just a few minutes.Dakboard is setup to pull some data from home assistant - we used bright colors and a font that looked like chalk, so the mirror always looks like it has paint marker date, time, forecast, inside and outside temperature and “feels like”, etc.Incredible price for what you get - if they offered it without the mirror I’d throw away all my Fire HD 10s and switch over completely!

Great frame, looks great, and I didn't have to make it!!
This thing looks great. Note, you will have to setup and add your own Raspberry pi, but is easy because there is mounting hardware and all the different cables for all the different versions of pi.There is plenty of foam/bubble wrap to ensure the mirror/screen stays intact, the internals of the mirror is a different story. When I got my mirror, the standoffs and screws for mounting your pi was scattered around the inside of the mirror and in the packaging. The board that controls the screen was free-floating in the back of the monitor. I pulled the entire back off, there is a door, but I needed to see everything, and I found the control board was glued on. I used some strong tape and taped it in place. I also found all the screws that had rattled off during shipping and got them put in place. They would be better off putting all the stand offs and screws in a ziplock, and having the end user put them on.The included wall anchors and screws were a bit strange in that you need two screws to mount the mirror, and they provided two screws, but they were different screws, one a hex head the other a Phillips. Fixing the free-floating screws unstuck board would make this a 5-star product.

Solid product with lackluster packaging
The mirror itself is a solid product. It looks great, and assuming all the wires are connected, it is very straightforward to operate. The packaging is a different story. While there is plenty of foam/bubble wrap to ensure the mirror/screen stays intact, the internals of the mirror appear to be completely unsupported. As a result, when my mirror arrived, the standoffs and screws for mounting your motherboard of choice were scattered around the inside of the mirror and in the packaging. The breakout board was free-floating in the back of the monitor, and the cables for the monitor's backlight were disconnected. I don't know if this happened during shipping or if they were never connected in the first place, but it was rather difficult to figure out why the monitor wasn't turning on until I unscrewed the entire backing. That's when I also discovered the rest of the motherboard mounting hardware embedded in various nooks and crannies.Once the packaging issues were resolved, the rest of the process was very easy. The included wall anchors and screws made it very easy to hang the mirror, and the mount feels very secure. Fixing the free-floating screws and breakout board would definitely make this a 5-star product.

Super small smart mirror
DONT WASTE your time and money. This mirror is super small 11x13 not even. No where on there listing shows the size. I see why!!! my medicine mirror is bigger then this mirror super not happy with the size. I tried asking before buying but no one answered the size question. Since this item had free return I took a chance. I am returning it. Also the controller parts inside was not connected and all the screws and parts was loss inside the mirror area. Not a god build and design.

Easy to set up
I dig that it had mounts inside for an R-PI. clean and simple.

Not much of a coder
So, I am not much of a coder. But with online tutorials and things like that I was able to follow what I needed like a SBC (single -board computer). I looked up what a mini computer board had to offer; and Thanks to this mirror I was able to make my dream of sci-fi mirror a reality. Using the mirror was easy just plug it in, test it, and if it works well mount it. Which I had no problem doing. The clarity and resolution of the screen behind the mirror was beautiful. I was able to project weather report all while putting on my contacts. My wife particularly liked that feature as well as we love to plan our drive. I was able to put on a music hiding small speaker inside, while I was on the throne. This really has become a huge project and the quality in this mirror is second to none I love it. Regardless of what it took to finish this project it's worth it. I can't express enough that you do need some "know-how" or it's just a Mirror with a screen behind it.
