It's a neat device, just as described on the website. I have used it for over a year and find it only moderately effective - it seems to kill small flying creatures very effectively but bigger flies are simply not attracted to it, so I do need to use 'cassette' type killers and old-fashioned fly-swat. Obviously other reviewers find it more effective than I do, and I don't know why unless it is a matter of location. On my experience alone, I would not buy another.

Ordered on a Friday night around 5pm and it arrived the next day before 12pm, which was great. The item is ok, its zaps anything that touches the electric mesh, it deals with most all flying pests, a few larger fly's struggle to get zapped and buss around the floor after being zapped which is a bit annoying. it doesn't attract anything if im honest.. We watched things fly right past it. However for the price, you cant ask for much more.. This was a last minute purchase due to a BBQ.The unit gets a bit hot in places, so watch out as it burnt my hand a bit, not bad but watch out if you have kids around it

The product looks good and works very well. Bought to use in the summer house where we are making wine (which attract insects). Has done a great job in the two weeks I have been using it. However, did notice that there were a couple of very small dents in the metal work but as they were so small decided not to send back.

I have used the cylinder-shaped zappers before - the sort that are for domestic use only. They kind of assume that domestic flies are somehow different to the type that invade butchers' shops.This Vermatic fly killer does what it's supposed to. Kills flies... And it does so with a satisfying 'crack'. I put this unit on top of a kitchen cupboard, which sounds a faff to turn on or off but isn't. I spent another £5 odd buying a remote socket unit that means all I have to do is press a button on a remote control handset to turn the unit on and off. It's good to be organised when it comes to fly killing. Carefree and easy 😊👍

We have lots of fruit flies, as we keep invertebrates (beetles, cockroaches, crabs), so have lots of fruit and veg in one relatively sealed room. Very satisfying zzzap when the flies hit it, made me jump when maybe three hit it at once! It's not in a bedroom, so the noise and light do not disturb us.Hanging chain is very handy, hubby put a bracket on the wall so they can get to both sides - they tend to sit on the wall behind where it's now mounted, so often then fly into it.Speedy delivery and well packaged. Smart unit for what it is! Highly recommended, have done so to others in the invert community.

The casing of this product is very lightweight. The image gives the impression of a sturdy construction which it isn't. It comes with a flimsy chain which you are supposed to use to attach it from two D-Rinds which are situated on the top of the device. The feet are also not particularly stable.It functions effectively but it is of poor design and poor quality.
