Nizoral Pre-Shampoo Scalp Build-Up Remover, 5 oz

Very great with removing product from hair such as hair oil and aloe vera combo for male medium short length hair and rubbing into the scalp and roots. Usually, when I wash my hair it with a regular shampoo it makes my hair clump up and hair can even get tangled with shampoo, like drying out. But after using this product as instructed then rinsing out, I used my shampoo and my hair was genuinely smooth and easier to lather and hair did not tangle or pull. Also, putting on conditioner was easier to apply and I love this product!

I ordered this product for ny husband. He tried many different products on the market for dandruff. Nothing worked— always had dandruff on his clothing. This product actually does work. I no longer see dandruff on him at all. Amazing!

This product is as described but it was messy for me. It’s thick and has little soft beads to scrub the scalp but it was a little difficult to use cause it’s so messy. The product didn’t work as well my rosemary oil for an itchy scalp.

I ordered this for my son. He is very happy with the purchase. It is a therapeutic shampoo, and it works.

I get bad dandruff and thought this would help. You have to use it on dry hair so putting on a scrub with long hair i couldn't say was successful. It could be user error but I wouldnt reccomend it with longer hair. I can see it working for short hair without much difficulty. I had to do multiple washes to get it all out.

If you like putting cheap body lotion on your head , this is for you . This is hands down the worst hair product i've used EVER. As I've gotten older my scalp has become more oily and greasy even if I go one day without washing it . So i've been trying a bunch of different shampoos for scalps and residue buildup remover because if a product describes that I'm automatically assuming its going to be a super good at removing oil and grease buildup from my scalp. (I know it sounds gross) . This product did absolutely nothing to help solve my scalp issue . If anything it made it more oily and greasy and the feeling of the product was a cheap body lotion that I was supposed to scrub in my head to remove buildup before my deep clean shampoo so that whenI shampoo , the shampoo and really invigorate my scalp and clean it properly. Again super super super disappointed....

I got this for my 9 year old in hopes of helping her dandruff. I’d tried the T Gel shampoo, and the Head & Shoulders products, but still seemed to have never ending flakes. So, I purchased this product along with their shampoo. I was expecting something similar to conditioner or a cream to soak in to the scalp, but it was grainy, similar in texture to an exfoliating face scrub. You apply it to dry hair, so I really had to use a lot to cover her scalp since it doesn’t really “spread around”, it’s a little sandy and a bit dry. Once I got her head covered as well as I could, I spritzed a little water on it and sort of rubbed it in and that help a lot. After leaving it on for the suggested time, we washed with their shampoo. She has long thick hair, and it was a bit of a challenge to get the grainy feeling out. Combing through the hair with conditioner in it did the trick. After her hair was dry, I checked and it was completely free of dandruff, even after scratching the scalp. So, it is a bit labor intensive for long or thick hair, but it does indeed work. I do suggest adding a little water to the scalp after it’s on to help massage it in.

Item is perfectly fine but not sure of how much use or how effective it actually is. Unlikely to buy again, but not through any complaint with the product.
