Nice hamster food
A great food for my hamster a decent size bag of 350g is Great for the price. I mix a few of these pellets with another food to give my hamster a good overall varied diet and he seems to absolutely love these. They have a smell but it’s not bad

Decent hamster food pellets
My hamster seems to love these pellets and they always go, I stressed to get a varied diet when first got a hamster 18m ago I mix with blends of seed/nuts/hamster blend food/decent amount of treats too, but he loves these. I feel reassured they seem to be healthy. They are cheap as well so could be used to bulk out more expensive food. Easy to use resealable packaging too.

Good choice
Bought this as I was concerned my Syrian was selecting his favourite bits from the Harry Hamster mix. This seems to be nutritionally very good. His coat is lovely and glossy and he seems to enjoy this mix. Even though the pellets are all the same he eats them happily daily. That said he does have meal worms some nuts and seeds and plenty of fresh veg which he loves. I would recommend this mix as it gives me confidence that he is having a healthy diet and nothing too high in salt and sugar.

Good for an ageing Syrian
I have just bought some of this for our rather elderly Syrian hamster. He has always had Harry Hamster, plus lots of fresh food as supplements, but his teeth aren't handling hard food well any more, so he's on a soft diet now. I thought I would try these, soaked in some boiled water, to make a softer main food for him, so he still gets all his nutrients, and they are very good for that. Plus he likes them. If you need to soak them, just a very small amount of boiled water softens them and then you can just break them up and mash them a bit. If you put too much water in they go too mushy. They have a smell which I couldn't quite put my finger one, but which obviously appealed to our hamster. I thought it was gravy at first, but now I think it's a yeasty kind of smell, a bit like ovaltine or other yeast products. I think they do have yeast in. I have given this food five stars, because hamsters need something all in one, that can be softened when they are older, and it contains all the nutrients they need. And there isn't much else that fits the bill. But - as a general hamster food I am not keen on the contents and I think if someone was to use this as a main hamster diet you would need to give them a fair bit of fresh food as a supplement, to keep life interesting and to have some real nutrition and vitamins, not just ones that are possibly artificial or quite processed. So apart from a bit of fresh veg every day, a bit of chicken, scrambled egg, fruit, nuts, pumpkin seeds and so on would be good to supplement it (for a Syrian Hamster). My one big gripe is that there isn't a single hamster food on the market that isn't chock full of soya to give the protein levels, and there is no organic hamster mix available. I wish there was.

Good nuggets for a diverse diet
This product was recommended to give my hammy a diverse diet. I give 1 tablespoon of this nuggets plus a tablespoon of muesli mix every 3 days. I do find some product when changing the bedding so it's not her favourite. It's fairly good price and can be added to the subscribe and save. The bag is reselleabe and the food is not smelly.
