Top-choice engineer hammer.
I love Estwing hammers. American made, heavy duty. The hammer will outlast me. This is a solid engineer hammer (mini-sledge). Solid weight, good handle size/length. I use mine for driving stakes, timber nails, and light fence posts.

This is the one!
The part I love most is the hickory handle, especially in high heat, high sweat environments. Perfect weighted mini sledge, perfect for tight environments where double jacks simply don’t fit.

As advertised
With a few minor touchups, works well for blacksmithing. Varnish on handle makes handle slippery, I sanded it off and burnt the handle.

Perfect
Estwing has built every one of my family members homes over the years with other various hammers and just like it's counterparts they work flawlessly

Survived the toughest test
This was a gift for my 7 yr old, future geologist. He uses this to smash rocks, especially Roxbury puddingstone, but even will use it to break up granite. It’s used roughly, left out in all weather, and is incredibly tough

Love it, but too many stickers!
I love Estwing hammers but gosh dang it! Why are there so many stickers on their tools! There were 6 stickers on this hammer! One too many if you ask me. All you need is the company name/logo that’s painted on the handle. I had to peel and take a wash cloth and scrub the adhesive off.
