Blind buy win!
Got the perfumes de Marley sample box and fell in love with Oriana. 2 problems… definitely don’t like the price tag and it simply did not last on me. This is a great alternative with the price point and amount alone but the projection is great too for such a gentle fragrance. It’s slightly less citrusy than Oriana and has that slight Arabic Smokey thickness on dry down but that’s what gives it its strength no doubt. This was a blind buy win for me.

Love, Extreme?
I hear alot of people compare this to Love, Don't be Shy but this is a twin to Oriana to me, but of course like most Arab perfumes stronger. For the price this a safe blind buy it you like a sweet, rosey or marshmallow perfumes. This is definitely for everyone who wants to save a coin or not use up all of their niche bottles.Update:This is almost identical to my bottle of Love, Dont be Shy Extreme. The extreme is the og but with more rose, orange blossom and marshmallow. Also the extreme is about $100 more so I'm very happy with this great deal.

Deliciously Beautiful Scent!
Update:I’ve figured it out! This is a close replica of the 1980’s version/release of Christian Dior’s Poison. I loved Poison back then! Delish!!! This has been bugging me so I kept thinking about it and wearing it and Bam!! 💥. It finally came to me! The new version of Poison doesn’t smell anywhere near as good as the 80’s version did. This is my story and I’m sticking to it! 💕. I’m hitting the buy button to order a few more bottles because I LOVE 80’s Christian Dior POISON!!!!I’m a diehard blind buying perfume junky. ☺️. When I die, they’re going to need a dedicated U-Haul just for my perfume collection. I’m a gourmand gal for sure but like some florals and spicy fragrances too. Right now I’m buying a lot of Lataffa perfumes. No idea why...? 😳 I did a blind buy on Yara and fell head over heels in love with it and the rest is history. So about this particular fragrance from Lataffa. It’s deliciously beautiful! It’s a bit alcoholy at first spray but that calms down and starts to change to a light, kind of airy, sweet, a smidgen of powder, floral raspberry if that makes any sense. It’s not juvenile like BBW. It’s not overpowering either. It definitely reminds me of Hugo by Hugo Boss. This scent can be worn during the day or night and truthfully year round. Not all perfumes can pull that off. Hugo loses its smell after about an hour or two on the skin. This lasts about 4 on me. The bottle is a good size, heavy and looks great sitting in my collection. I can definitely see me grabbing this often instead of the others. It’s just a great, lightweight, pretty scent that you can wear easily. It’s a good buy so treat yourself to a bottle. 🩷

Candy (not bakery) sweet
If you want a sweet scent, this might work. If you are looking for a "bakery sweet" scent, be careful. This is going to need some time in perfume jail to get there. This is described here as being "floral" & it has some floral notes (I get the rose note), but that's way underneath the candy-sweet scent. As usual with every Lattafa I have so far, this needs time to ripen. Brand new, the candy notes just screeches at you over everything else. It gave me cherry cough medicine vibes & I hated it. It came across like a perfume for kiddies. However, after the first few days, it is already starting to come together. It's still candy-sweet (think of those syrupy gummies that stick to your teeth), but some of the citrus and raspberry start to come through. On the dry down, I get some of the calming and grown-up powder.Knowing Lattafa as I do, I'm going to continue letting this get its act together and try it again in about 2 weeks. I expect the magic that always happens. Already, the vanilla comes out a bit on the dry down.By the way, the bottle is nice enough as is the box. Neither are as dramatic as some other Lattafa designs. The gold stands out nicely against the red. The top looks like what Poirot or some other fancy gentleman would have on his walking stick. There is a booklet included that shows other fragrances in the collection & listing notes and accords.
