AccuristMens Aviation 41mm Quartz Watch with Analogue Display

Bought for the clean and simple face. I also wanted to be able to read the time when it was dark, but slightly disappointed, not as bright as I had hoped.Like the weight, feels well built. Didn't have to adjust strap fitted right away.

Date view is too small and watch strap too thick, ptherwise, looks good and is easy to read the face.

A lovely well built watch . The case is superb, partly brushed with a polished band on the bezel. Setting is smooth and accurate and the crystal is sapphire.The strap is a sheer quality, thick leather but supple and accommodates a wrist up to eight inches.The second hand hits the markers and the hands are luminous.Sixty three percent off! Get it!Update, at the price offered I couldn’t resist the Aviator on a steel bracelet. Five year guarantee and a really great solid steel bracelet.Magic.

Love the simple but eye-catching design. At 41 mm this is the largest case size that I would wear. I do need my reading glasses for the date, but that applies to most other watches and the luminous hands would benefit from luminous hour markers too. But these are minor downsides - a quality watch at a very reasonable price.

Had I bought this watch at the RRP I would have sent it back straight away, however at the current price I found it acceptable to keep. The two negatives are as follows. Firstly the second hand sweep doesn’t line up with the marks, you can even see it in the picture listed on here (which I’ve attached) which I never noticed at first, not until the actual watch arrived. You could call this a minor negative as the watch does still keep very good time. Lastly the strap,,it’s not good, especially for slim wrists. For a start it’s quite thick, but not thick leather. It’s two very thin leather veneers that have heavy padding in between. The hole I was using to buckle up is already deforming & no doubt will tear at some point. The strap alone I would have given this 3 stars had it been sold at the RRP. So now I’m planning on buying an aftermarket strap for this watch, which to be honest I’ve had to do with a couple of my other watches due to my wrist size. So overall it’s not a bad watch at this price, but nowhere near worth the original RRP.
