Aquash Water Brush

This shape is a bit of an odd-ball. It isn't exactly a flat when you compare it with the Kuretake flat water-brush. It is as if Pentel squished one of their broad brush tips into a flatter collar then gave it a larger, rounder water tank. This gives a flattish end that is about 4mm wide at the tip. This said it works really well with a good flow and generous, easy to clean brush. This was exactly the size I wanted. (I've been making sure that all my paint boxes have a colour chart in the lid and have begun to compile a huge set of swatches for reference. This one was the right size for the stamp I have been using.)Eschewing neatness, I wanted to use a water brush to speed up the process as it might otherwise take forever,and this really did the job well. The only downside is that the rounder tank is a bit stiffer than the standard Aquash one and takes a bit more effort to operate. (If you want a more conventional flat water brush Kuretake do one that is flatter, wider and far more like the expected shape but it holds less water and is fiddlier to fill.) It probably fairer to call this a flattish rather than flat water-brush but it suited my purposes and works well.

Contrary to what is advertised it does not have a flat tip.
